Nice moves by Jose. I said earlier that Rose-Aurier is worst full backs pairing in the league and now Doherty and Regulion this is huge upgrade. And if they take Bale, they would be very dangerous.

He should stop playing Dier as CB and go with Toby and Sanchez.

Lloris, Reguilon, Sanchez, Toby, Doherty is very solid defense. And Son-Kane-Bale upfront.

Dele is barely good enough to start for Spuds (and probably wouldn't if Lo Celso was fit) so it's crazy if Real Madrid wants him.

Doherty is only really good as a wingback in a 3 4 3 or a 3 5 2

I do not rate him nearly as much as a trad RB

I don't think the fall will be as spectacular as Torres, Alexis. His left foot is still worth a loan punt I think but not a signing that improves Spurs by much.

Also, fair enough that United see themselves too big to include a buyback clause but it will be hilarious if they don't land another target and end up with a Plan B at the end of the window
