Eriksen has verbally agreed to join Real Madrid (AS)

Happy about this. The one player I fear most at Spurs. Always has a cracker against us.

Reckon this will kick off Real's spending spree...

Eriksen could join Real Madrid for free with Zidane willing to wait if Spurs reject summer transfer bid

I can see him pushing to leave this season. Especially if Spurs don't qualify for CL.

thats not a shocker, when he is health Mendy is an absolute monster, and they will give him one more year to stay healthy

Alex Sando is on the verge of being too old, he turns 29 in the middle on next season, so not worth the £50m plus Juve will want. Why would you pay that for only one full sub 30yo season.

Only true upgrade would be Alaba, and good luck prying him away from Bayern. Alba at Barca is now 30 and will soon start to decline, probably within 2 years, 3 years max.

Alex Telles and Junior Firpo is the only other truly WC LB's who are remotely available, and I would take a healthy Mendy or them probably. Its a toss-up and a very expensive toss-up. Tey were on the verge of going for Firpo, but he has been hurt a tonne this year, so unless Real Madrid grabs him, Firpo should be there next year (and we need to grab him if Shitty/Real do not) or Chillwell. Firpo has far more upside, and is a far bigger and a far better athlete. I would also take Ferland Mendy. But, IF RM do not buy Junior, they will probably buy Ferland.

As soon as the bans are over, we HAVE to sell assclown Alonso. Wuthless as a fullback, I dont give a damn about that goal. So many jumped back on the Higs train after he scored. Look where that got them.

There is a Brazilian LB Renan Lodi(21) who will be in the nt soon and is probably the best in this generation(in Brazil). He is not cheap though. Atletico Madrid made a offer of €15mi but his club want €20mi. Most probably goes to Atletico but it would be good if we could sign him.

4 scenarios for next season

- No ban and No CL
- No ban and CL
- Ban and No CL
- Ban and CL

In both cases if we are banned then we just have to use the loan army with the likes of zouma, reece james, tammy abraham, bakayoko, batshuayi. Just use these players and hope and pray we qualify the next year for cl

If there is no ban and no cl
We need to go all out for young and upcoming stars like timo werner, luka jovic, pepe, sancho, wan bissaka, aouor, ndombele, david neres, ake etc

But if there is a dream scenario of no ban and we enter the cl
We need to have 2-3 world class signings like dybala, fekir, de ligt, alex sandro, etc
Also put all money on the hazard contract n make him stay for good

Its a pain to watch matches currently and whatever happens i just hope we recover and become a force in not just england but europe again

Even if we get our ban lifted, what makes people think that it will be a good thing?

For this season, we currently have around 200mil£ of players out on loan or just not playing any part in the season.

Bakayoko - 40mil

DD - 40mil

Morata - 60mil

Michy - 30mil

Baba - 20mil

Etc etc.

Imagune using this 200mil properly guys. 200 freaking million. The absolute invomeptency of the board is unbelievable

we will never get any of those prices except for Bats, unless Bakayoko comes back and blows up, in which case why would we sell him

We will be lucky to get £20m for Drinkwater due to his insane salary, probably more like 15 to 17m

Morata, lucky to get £45m

Baba £10ish (it is madness we paid at least £18m, and potentially £22m for him)

we turned down £620m in hard offers last summer (that doesn't even count the massive loss we took on Cuntois, nor the CHO offer from Bayern, which, IF he is perma fucked (please NO!) by his ruptured Achilles will be a huge loss too)

we will lose some on frees or take less than half those offers for so many of them

at the end of the day we will be lucky to get half or 60% max of that £620m or so when all are finally shipped out eventually or released

I absolutely share you concern that even if we DO get a deferral the board will do fuckall and we will be pretty much fucked until summer 2021 (January 2021 will be hard hard to make deals in)

the board is criminally inept

Timo Werner 40 million? We should enter this race.. He would be great in the PL, his technique, his physics..

the reason he is so low is he will leave on a free in 13 months, and he is refusing to renew

Bayern loves to pull Bundesliga players for free, I expect them to perhaps try this, as Lewandowski has at least 1 great year left in him

they may balance out the decrease in Lewa value versus the extra they would pay now for Werner and decide to pull the trigger on selling Lewa this summer and buy Werner for the 40m or so

Also, they are never going to buy an injured CHO, they will wait to see how he recovers (Achilles injuries can sometimes end careers or take 2 plus years to fully heal and recover from)

plus they would get him for free in 2020, same as Werner

CIES Football Observatory

n°261 - 06/05/2019

Values

Top transfer values for U20 big-5 league players

http://www.football-observatory.com/IMG/sites/b5wp/2018/261/en/

Issue number 261 of the Weekly Post presents the top 50 list of the U20 players from the big-5 with the highest transfer value according to the CIES Football Observatory algorithm. The English full international Jadon Sancho heads the table with an estimated value of €150M. Borussia Dortmund’s winger outranks Arsenal’s Mattéo Guendouzi(€70M) and AS Roma’s Nicolò Zaniolo (€67M).

Four other big-5 league players born on or after January 1st 1999 have an estimated value greater than €50M: Kai Havertz (Bayer Leverkusen), Declan Rice (West Ham), Gianluigi Donnarumma (Milan AC) and Vinícius Júnior (Real Madrid). Footballers from 18 national associations feature in the top 50 list. The most represented country is France (13 players), followed by England (9).

The updated transfer valuations for all players from the five major European competitions are available here. In order to keep some more exclusive information, we have henceforth decided to display only price ranges. The latter still refer to the most probable fee for the most likely buyer. Additional services can be provided on a mandate basis.

dafuq why did we not make him sign a contract ffs. will only get a few quids for him now. shit management once again

What if he didn't want to? Busting board is getting so boring. They can't put a pistol against players head. Also, he is an academy gk with zero pro experience, we wouldn't have recieved too much money for him even if he got a 20 year long contract.

City are really a well run club man, they are about to sign David Silva's replacement and the season is not even done yet. Can Roman at the very least employ some capable football people to run us like Man City (scouting and recruitment wise)
