Guardian reporting that the only thing stalling the deal is that Chelsea want a pre-agreement about Rooney in the summer. A lot of reliable sources are saying that united are interested and that we are interested in selling as well.

Who gives a fuck if they do? 2-3 years is a century in terms of football, maybe ManUtd don't even need him then? We'd be still 30-40- mil richer while not having strengthened our league rivals.

No, I think we need 5 players for those 3 positions or use the 433 we've used sporadically this season to good effect.

Ideally we'd sign a 5th AM who wold be a right-sided, left-footed player who fits the system. At the moment we have Hazard, Oscar, Willian, Schurrle and Ramires (who can play on the right if needed) if Mata leaves.

4 of those 5 players WILL play every important and big match. u dont want rambo playing a semi-final against spurs in fa cup, then semi against RM in CL and then play right wing against say sunderland.

right now we have 4 players for those 3 positions. if u want to buy a left footed player who can play wide, less than what mata costs, should not have a problem sitting with a bench and also be of chelsea quality... name me a player.

I absolutley love Mata and I would hate to see him leave, especially if United buy him. Makes zero sense to strenghten them like that. Imagine Mata behind RVP/Rooney!!!

However, If he is sold, I believe the plan is to (of course) just play Oscar in that position and when he needs rest or is injured, mourinho will prolly switch to a 4-3-3 instead.
