Ooookay. Its pretty much done now. Mixed emotions. I feel angry that we let him go to a rival, no matter how much money, we have sold to a club that messed us around and didn't want to sell one of their players to us. I hope some sort of Rooney clause is in the deal but I very much doubt it!

Mata from a pure attacking sense, is at least as good as Oscar.

So we are basically selling our joint best CAM to our rivals (may not matter this season but probably will next). Not something that is good. But the small bright side for this season is we have already played united. So United should be harder to beat and more likely to take points from City and Arsenal... Its a small positive, but better than nothing.

My friend was saying this. I think selling Mata to Man Utd isnt a bad idea after all. Since we played Man Utd twice already, it aint going to affect us. With teams like Arsenal and City have yet to play United away, I think Mata would be very useful for Utd which may result in United win. This would enable us to overtake City and Arsenal. Short-termism. What if he helps United reach the top 4 thereby enabling them to strengthen more effectively in the summer and become a real force once again? What about when he faces us next season or the one after?
