    • Having a natural goalscorer in attack is just as important.   Our defense was always going to be average as it seemed like the plan was hope James & Fofana stay fit for most of the season.... Just look at the way the top 6 is going this season, Liverpool/City/Newcastle all have players that can score a goal when needed and turn the game in their favour.
    • Fleece them
    • yes, especially Yoro
    • not completely disagreeing, but it's all the same thing for me--esp in the modern game. Tosin and Trevoh for example, is just too much of the same. Makes the team lose quality in possession.
    • more than our attack, I think our mains issues are the defense and center midfield
    • I agree that he will likely not influence games in attack too much — he’s another 20yo after all. i don’t expect Estevao to do that either. I think Garnacho could help us concede fewer goals, which for me is the main problem with the team right now. Neto does a bit of that too, but has been inconsistent of late. its really hard to win matches, esp away from home, when you concede goals. And as much as people like to talk about the CBs or the DM, I suspect the problem is more of teamwor
    • Tbh, I dont think that garnacho will not make us worst but I also dont think that he is makes us a lot better, specially in the next months
    • the price isn't hard to explain. he plays in the premier league, he's 20 years old, he has a lot of scope for progression and we're halfway through the season and his contract doesn't expire until 2028. we're talking about an argentinian international. garnacho was never going to be cheap.
    • We should not be signing any Man Utd player, they've got minimal quality in the whole squad and wont let what little they have go ffs. Anything they're chucking us, given their league position and desperation to turn it around, is going to be a Mason Mount-esque hit and run for a bunch of cash for a hugely overrated player that the buying club will regret forever after. Just stay the hell away. I agree that Diallo is pretty much the only player they've got that has the kind of quality to pl
    • Lazio remain confident to get Cesare Casadei deal done after bid sent two days ago, €12m plus 20% sell-on. Negotiations at final stages with Chelsea with Lazio director Fabiani on it to get it done and sealed.   (FabrizioRomano)
    • Disagree, in terms of talent, Yoro and Mainoo are up there.   Interesting that the initial rumors were about Mainoo potentially being allowed to leave and now it's all gone quiet.    It's a bit worrying when United are 'okay' with selling a youngster like Garnacho...
