Not going for wharton was a collosal mistake... I'd still go for it though. Midfield is terrible without caicedo -
I want to see him going with the strongest 11 available from the start, not resting 5, so at least if things are not going our way he can change it up. Starting with 5 changes smacks of under estimating the oppo not only that but allowing him to use it as an excuse. I’m not sure he has his favourites but he deffo has problem with this squad, it’s already injury prone and the Club World Cup hasn’t helped matters at all, the team selection is so annoying but on the other hand what’s the alternative?
