    • I was all in on the potential signing of Olise. Are you saying you felt it would have been overkill at that time, or that the later signings of Neto and Sancho would have made it overkill? I don't think anyone can doubt Musiala's technical level, or that our squad will need further upgrades whether or not we qualify for next season's Champions League. The issue is that it is claimed neither Estavao nor Paez will be loaned out, and we clearly are not finishing lower than 14th so will be obli
    • Staggering amount of leverage ! Musk expects a return, in terms of business lube and tax dodges. Talking of leverage AIPAC spent 100m on Dems and Repubs - and spent 14.5m to get rid of israel critic Jamaal Bowman. -which is why Reps and Dems stand and clap like dogs every time Netanyahu speaks at Congress
    • love to see this, this is the right attitude and spirit i want to see at Chelsea, i hope we get back to the aura we had with the old guard, we are definitely heading in the right direction, just need to address the GK issue. Cheers
    • Musk ALONE dumped in 277 million USD for Trump and other Republican candidates. No other billionaire was close to that, and the ones who were closest (granted off by margins), where almsot all Trump/Repub donors. Counting Musk, just the top 10 RW donors combined gave around £953 miilion to Trump and the Repubs, and the top 12 RW donors gave over 1 billion combined.   https://www.yahoo.com/news/elon-musk-spent-least-277-175722943.html   the rest
    • No idea, but will take your word for it, but to me the yanks have little choice over what determines their future. Harris/Biden might have been a better candidate for women LGBTQ etc but the foreign policies probably would still be the same - a Zionist biased administration that would result in more of the same.
    • there are 3 we never won Continental: UEFA Intertoto Cup Inter-Cities Fairs Cup Global: Intercontinental Cup There is now a new Intercontinental Cup, so we can win that. Juve, if they had not lost their 2 Inter-Cities Fairs Cup finals (in 1965 nil 1 to Ferencváros in Turin, when they were missing 2 of their top players, and 1971 to Leeds on away goals, as that year it was home and away 2 legs) would have been the ONLY team to have a chance to win everything, as th
    • I know this easy avenue of billionaires vote right - they want to keep themselves rich notion is thrown out, but wasn't there near double the billionaires backing Harris/Biden than the other way around this last election?
    • love this!!!!!! I hope all here watch it
    • superb article, well worth the read How America Invented the Red State According to conventional wisdom, the last quarter century of elections has proved that most of the country leans conservative. It all started with a map. https://www.thenation.com/article/politics/red-states-walz-vance/ On November 8, Tim Walz had to face the music. The scene was Eagan, Minnesota, where the Minnesota and Mississippi rivers meet—a site of sacred importance to the Dakota Sioux, who re
    • Why history is always political In his work on republicanism as a living idea, J G A Pocock showed that contesting history is part of a robust civic life https://aeon.co/essays/history-is-always-political-and-contest-over-it-is-a-good-thing At present, describing historians as political actors evokes bias, political manoeuvring and a lack of critical thinking. This description conjures up historians merely as political pundits, rummaging through history in search of ev
