borriske 330
What's all this talk about ManU being a mid-table team, it's rubbish.Right now they are literally playing like a bottom-table team Unbelievable. :dude: The_Flash
duo11bluecl 207
They just fucking broke a record that will never be broken in football history, why all the doom and gloom? 81 crosses, come on that is unbeatable and one of those day Shrek/Injury prone grey hair dude/Cuntarito is gonna get on it. They were unlucky today. Fulham fluke that, it should have been like 5-0. With Mata also getting an assist and Jones back soon, they will be roaring to the CL QF by beating Olympiacos who lost their best striker to the team that they drew today with.Oh and only 9 points off 4th, keep the faith in David Moyes. SAF is never wrong you know

The_Flash 1,144
Moyes really is a cretin. I can't believe how bitter and rude he was in his post match interview there. To say about poor Fulham bottom of the league, that they didn't deserve the goals. They didn't deserve the result, the points. If they had got a goal it would have been different. Well if Fulham had got that shot it would have been 2-0 then what??? What a pathetic thing to say about a team struggling.

Didn't know they did this kind of stuff. 5.32pm GMT 74 min: Januzaj crosses. Corner. Which will lead to ANOTHER DAMN CROSS! 5.32pm GMT 74 min: Rooney hits the corner. It’s a cross. Who would have thought? Fulham cl … oh, I can’t even be bothered to type it anymore. 5.34pm GMT 76 min: An entire minute passes without a Manchester United cross … oh wait, there it is. Rooney crosses to the back stick. After the ball does a bit of bobbling around Fulham do their thing. Barbara 15,149
Pertinent (and honest) question: What's better (or worse should be the most appropriate question)? To play 50% of the matches in a club fighting for titles and going to UCL or to play 100% of the matches in a club that is beyond mediocre and won't manage any kind of European football? borriske

To play 50% of the matches in a club fighting for titles and going to UCL or to play 100% of the matches in a club that is beyond mediocre and won't manage any kind of European football? To answer your pertinent(and honest) question would be to opt for the first choice - play half of the games and lift trophies. In Mata's case, though, every game under his belt will count for a call up for Spain's World Cup squad. Guess he took a gamble there. nofacej 132
There are probably a lot of factors behind Mata's choice. Would he really feel like he contributed towards the silverware if we won any this season? As a bit part player I'm sure it wouldn't feel as special. There's also the matter of wages, where we weren't paying him nearly as much as United are now, and his raise potential was pretty much shot by his new found role as a sub which is the opposite of what he probably expected given the previous two seasons. Then there's the whole World Cup aspect, though I very much doubt he will be improving his chances by playing in a mediocre United team. Finally, it's quite probable that Mata viewed his new role at Chelsea as stunting his own personal growth as a player.
