Last Sicarius 610
Chill guys. UTD have easy fixtures but also its only beginning. In past two season, City had great starts but how they ended everyone knows. After January we can start telling who is going to win league. kmk108 and Barbara

Please tell me how many times Jose has failed to win the title after a good start in his 2nd season? City had nothing to do with United here... bluephoenix 1,131
they are strong contenders there is no doubt they have spent a lot of money and quite frankly have a good team. The way they play is testament to the fact that the dressing room is happy I just hope that we can up our efforts to create a good foundation of players that would serve us long term *surprise surprise* the players who could actually grow and become long term aren't with us (looking at our recent baffling transfers : Chalobah and Ake). But I hope we retain though, as if we don't this is the first season Conte failed to win the league as manager. Not entirely true. He's won the league every season he's been the manager of Juventus and Chelsea, but he never won the league with Atalanta, Siena, Arezzo and won Serie B once with Bari. cosmicway 1,333
City is tipped by the bookies to win the title (2.35). Mou follows (3.25), then us (7.50).
Milan 17,956
Everton with 8 Englishmen in their line-up. And playing good football.
Jase 43,479
Will never understand Guardiola's obsession with the constant tinkering. Can never seem to keep things simple and trust his players' quality to come through. In some ways, it's probably a good thing that we didn't get him as our manager. Might have ended up with another AVB situation.

I'd be very disappointed if we did so with a man advantage for a half. Johnnyeye and oldportblue

After this weekend of premier league matches, I feel much better about us possibly having a sustained title challenge. MU look good so far but city are showing a few little signs of weakness, arsenal weren't ever really gonna challenge but seeing them lose is always pleasant and we just beat spurs away... looking somewhat promising for when we get everyone back and firing, hopefully we can beat everton with a makeshift line-up and keep up with the big teams until we have everyone back. Happy days
