Neither team seems that great tbh, but I'll be fair and credit it to early days.

This City team doesn't scare me at all. And they gave the ball to Liverpool and played with tons of players behind the ball, but you know, when someone else who isn't Mourinho does it, it's great, when it's Mou, it's parking the bus, ofc.

they were looking little shaky at defence, and especially in first half they were dominated in the middle. Fortunately for them Sturridge is still on holiday. However with Aguero fully fit and Toure entering beast mode again they will be only better.

Yeah, City didn't blow me away today in all honesty. Their forwards are extremely clinical, yes, but that game was decided more by Liverpool's defensive incompetence and total capitulation than it was City being far superior.

I think the media have underestimated city.

City have the advantage over everyone in the terms that they maintain the same team which means better chemistry. If Aguero stays fit for 6-7 more matches than last season, they will finish with more points than last season.

We'll need to maintain beating these smaller teams and beat the big teams like last season because only 89-90points can win the title this season.

It's still too god damn early to say anything about the title race. As far as I am aware, Spurs may very well be contending for the title in this season. For me while yes we are looking very good, without Diego Costa, it would be last season all over again for us. Man City's attacking from what I observed today, didn't seem too fluid and a lot of errors in midfield. Like someone said, their win was decided by defensive errors.
