The fact Chelsea has 3 candidates that can win poty will only hurt their chances. At this rate I can see Di Maria winning it or David Silva/Aguero.

Everton is 17th place....... THe USA vs belgium game blinded too many fans, Howard was never a good goalkeeper. Besic has been unimpressive and Everton need better Cms on their squad. Hopefully, martinez will start eto from now on.

Liverpool in 9th place. So much for Markovic, sterling, coutinho, llalana and company being good.

speaking of POTY.... when the official POTM thing is coming out?

I haven't see the list for September or the winners...

Nothing on the site.Did they do one for August?

They have. As pointed out by ReddishBlue above, Costa won the August Player of the Month while Garry Monk won the Manager of the Month. And funnily enough, Swansea haven't won a league game since Monk got the award.

Must be around 10-12 October, if we take last month as reference. I have double check it, last month bbc published the nomination list (seems the first one) at 11 September, and the official announcement should be the day after (12 September last month).

I meant the September awards, not August.

Well, after he won it last month, he went to score a hat-trick and then again and again. Four goals in Sept as well as in August and one already in october. I see a trend :P

Five of our league fixtures between December and January have been moved for live TV coverage - Newcastle, Stoke, West Ham, Southampton and Tottenham.

http://www.chelseafc.com/news/latest-news/2014/Oct%2014/five-games-moved-for-tv.html

Stoke City v Chelsea, now 8pm on Monday 22 December, live on Sky Sports

Chelsea v West Ham United, now 12.45pm on Friday 26 December, live on Sky Sports

Southampton v Chelsea, now 2.05pm on Sunday 28 December, live on Sky Sports

That's three games in 6 days and only two days between West Ham and Southampton. Surely that's not correct?

United have been rubbish for much of this season and yet they are only 3 points behind City in the table...

I always knew they would get that 4th spot. Dimaria is performing just as I thought, so their attack will always outscore their woeful defensive problems. It helps them that they aren't in Europe so they have liverpool's last season advantage of having 1week to prepare tactics while the rest of us use 2-3days. With Liverpool loosing 31goals Suarez who bailed them out of a woeful defense that conceded 49epl goals and now having to cope with midweek games, Manutd will easily go above Liverpool for that top 4.

It is. Just the congested Christmas schedule, usually happens.

Thanks BT for a 1245 kick off at the other end of the country again you muppets. Looks like the annual Stoke piss up is going out the window this year too.
