The only place to be 11,313
We'd have to ship out 3 because we're at 19 currently.CechMikelRomeu (loan)Torres

Madmax 9,219
CechMikelRomeu (loan)TorresI'd keep Romeu if Mikel goes, otherwise we'd have only Matic, Fabregas, MvG and Ramires for 2 places (3 if we want to switch to 433). Pizy 18,952
Yeah, I think we can safely say that it's not gonna happen. I know José usually lies when he's talking about transfer business but after just watching his interview on Sky he seems pretty genuine and assertive that Torres won't be sold and that having 3 strikers is essential for us. Torres is just unsellable.

Even if we do manage to sell Torres, I really can't see the club spending £40/£50m on someone that won't even have a starting spot guaranteed. gary gordon 1,777
Torres reminds me of Jerry Seinfelds car when it gets the bad odour. We can't even give him away. empire of emotions, 11Drogba and Dy-lan
RoyalBlues 4,050
I think we have to start giving a new signings a shorter length of contract. Maybe around 3 years would be perfect. If the player turns good, we will extend the contract with deserve payrise. If not working, release them for free. No more 5.5 years of hell again like Torres. Popular Post! Shakez 755 Posted August 1, 2014 Popular Post! Share Posted August 1, 2014 Willian was a starter pretty much since december. Tbh, Mata leaving wasn't a coincidence and José looked at our options when he joined and wasn't satisfied. He liked his players in good physical shape for his high pressing game (wich is his target). That's also a main reason why KDB had to go (got dispossed easily when pressed), and why Schürrle spent most of the season upping his physique. bababoom, Ainsley Harriott, BlueLion. and 2 others
cadenza666 221
why move from one side that plays him on the wing to one where he might have to rotate to play from the bench. but if we really are going to play with 2 strikers then a possibility

Doesn't mean we can't farm him off on loan somewhere and pay half his wages.

blu35_army 551
Torres (Chelsea) ---> AS Monaco Falcao (AS Monaco) ---> Real Madrid Di Maria (Real Madrid) ---> PSG Cavani (PSG) ---> Chelsea Maybe too good to be true,,but it's very best scenario. just poor for Monaco...
