Edinson Cavani

Arsenal is capable of paying 100m in one go, they just don't do it. However who knows, maybe they think signing Cavani will sort them for the next 5-7 years and pay 50m, which they will get him for that.

Arsenal have tons of money, they just never really spend it.

And we should be very thankful for that!

If Wenger really wanted to push, they could have very well signed a top DM and a top ST by spending 60-70mi. Which would definitely make them strong title contenders...

We should swap Oscar for him and promote Baker as the new back up and get rid of Torres. Then we can easily play with 2 strikers up front and we won't have a complaining player since Baker would be happy to be a squad player.

4-2-2-2:

Matic Cesc

Wil/Schurlle Hazard

Costa Cavani

Title: "Flop who doesn’t worth 64M"

Article: PSG is struggling this season and it continued with 1-1 draw against AS Monaco on Sunday night.
Pierre Menes (Canal sports writer) "The biggest problem in PSG, is Edison Cavani. Not only missing opportunies,
now he cannot even hit the ball on target. PSG is behind 7 points and there are many games remaining, but this is problematic."

What ya guys think about this?

He has been hammered for his recent showings on the Paris forums, too. It looks like they are using him as the scapegoat for this poor start. Such a great striker ruined by a tin-pot club. Just like Arsenal did with Ozil and will do with Alexis, too.

He has been really awful recently. Against Barça PSG were good but he was really off the pace and it showed.

Ditto against Monaco.

Reminds me of Torres, no first touch, just getting the ball and running with it into a brick wall, trying to hard. All that stems from a complete lack of confidence.
