Thing is if we got to the final playing like that against Liverpool or Fulham..no chance soooo.

we have only lost twice to Fulham in the past 45 seasons

BUT one was in January 2023

things have been going over his head.

all these kids on social media are super quick to start the hype and once he got his "cold" palmer hype and shit like that he instantly started misfiring already in the last game.

He is a capable player but same mental fragility like the rest of these spoilt brats.

Yes, there is that, but there is also the physical aspect. He's very frail and easily outmuscled out of plays. He's got enough skill to avert that most of the time, but this was a VERY physical game without VAR. Not surprising he struggled in such situ.

there was literally no physical contact before those 3 misses. He just choked, fluffed his lines. Clear lack of killer instinct. Nothing to do with his physical weakness which is obviously still a problem in other situations.

We broke so many records recently of haven't lost to this team since the old ages...this wouldn't be surprising.

Sure, but I'm not talking about misses, but the overall performance.

Physicality affects the opposition in a number of different ways: attacking players may try to apply the finish quickly to avoid contact for ex. Bullying the frail attacking players isn't really anything new.

Among Premier League sides, only Bournemouth and Nottingham Forest (32 each) have lost more games than Chelsea (31) in all competitions since the start of last season, while no side has lost more away from home than the Blues (21).

Yay....
