All these youngsters we bought look solid/great. I think in 2 years we will be very grateful that we bought them so cheap and not having to negotiate for 80m with Brighton or Inter.

Usually I wouldn't want to go near that competition but would have been perfect on this occasion given the amount of young players we've got, and will give us a huge huge chance to win our first trophy under new ownership (which we need to do before it becomes a 'thing').

Could not ask for better first pre season game. So many youngsters impressed. And there is definitely big hope Poch can work wonders and turn around what we saw last season especially from certain players like Gallagher for example.

New guys Jackson, Nkunku looked great. Maatsen, Casadei impressive. Santos will be that player that does all the dirty work that may be invisible to some viewers. Moreira and Angelo great talent, give them a couple of years. Conor great goal and a couple of great passes. Cannot judge defense, did not have anything to do. Chuk biggest disappointment, loan or sell. Was always a weird buy from Villa for 20m.
