He has to stay if we don't get Caicedo in time for Liverpool as is looking almost certain.

All this talk about being unstable to start the season but 10 of the 11 to face Liverpool looks set in stone injury permitting.

disappointing , has more goal scoring potential than our other mids. should be playing over connor , especially at DM

Unless we are going to sell Gallagher?

Since we have Lavia.

Connor’s not going to be playing as a 6 though… he maybe played there v Liverpool but not since, so what does that have to do with Santos who by the looks of it, is an actual 6?

Or did people want us to play with Caicedo, Santos and Enzo? With basically little to no creativity or goal threat? Same with Lavia, Caicedo and Enzo?

Who’s going to pop up with a goal from midfield? Gallagher more likely than any of those 3 if I’m honest, was a big reason why his loan spell at Palace went well. Granted when Nkunku comes back if he plays in the hole maybe we will go 4231 and see a more disciplined 2 in front of the defence but doesn’t look likely at the moment.

Conor creates nothing and scores once in a blue moon so he can’t justify his place in the team with creativity and goals.
He’s an undisciplined work rate merchant with 0 composure , might as well play lavia or Santos in a 3 for the added stability and control which would lead to more attacking opportunities, not to mention it would eliminate connors constant turnovers which destroys a lot of attacks.

More important that he gets a good season of regular football than anything. Is there space in the Forest XI for him? What kind of football do they play?

Danilo, Mangala and Yates played in central midfield this season so far.

Well, if he cannot make his way into starting eleven among these guys, then he is definetly not ready to challange Enzo/Caicedo/Lavia.

But I believe he will be a straight starter and perform well.

Not even on the bench...

Fofana also lost starting spot in Berlin after failing to do anything in many starts.

Casadei and Hutchinson also starting on the bench in Championship.

Says a lot about clashing of the exciting talent buying strategy vs reality though. People were fuming they are not starting for us, meanwhile they prove useless for teams two divisions down so far.

Should have kept them in our academy team, if they are not playing actual football anyway, I think our training base and staff is bit better, than Forest's or Reading.

no, what is says is the SHIT football played by SHIT British managers who will play it safe (not really as they lose mostly anyway) with middling thug hack players

Cooper is a shit, typical utterly unimaginative manager

barely a step above dire dregs like the POS Pulis

managers like them are a joke when it comes to development

same for Dyche, Big Sam, Pardew, and Fraudgate, etc etc

they are giga stacked with semi competent experienced players in his position. he was never going to get a game. they want him for cheap emergency backup,, they have 0 intention of playing him. Worst loan idea ever, its like they chose a club out of the hat. decisions like this can make or break someones career, shameful
