I dont hate Potter. He isnt the one to blame. However I do hate the American owner. The clown destroyed the club in the space of few months.

Potter only happened because of Boehly.

And while we are working hard and making good progress to cement our 10th place with mastermind GP, the prematurely sacked Tuchel will just continue decimating Bundesliga and probably win CL this or next year.
all thanks to our clueless owners also shitting away hundreds of millions on below average players.

As I said, the only one I would favor to succeed Potter is Nagelsmann.

On the other hand, he really messed up at Bayern - went out early in the cup twice, lost to Villarreal in the CL and was only winning 5 of the 10 games in the league since January. Also, the 77 he achieved with Bayern last year was the lowest amount of points since 2012 for them.  Overall, even Kovac had a better spell at Bayern. Maybe he is overrated.

The Problems with Nagelsmann are the same as with Potter -

1)too many tactical variations and no clear philosophy. switching system and personnel too often so players can’t settle

2)he struggles to get big egos in line. The final nail was when the underperforming Mane successfully pressured Nagelsmann into starting him the next game. Nag s standing took such a bit from caving to player power he never recovered

Potter deserves some of the blame, he knew full well that he was no where near ready to take on the role at Chelsea but jumped at the chance to run away from Brighton and get a huge paycheck in the process.

It looks like the only reason why Potter was selected is because he is a yes man who won't go against the owners wishes.

Just get Luis Enrique in and be done with the clownshow.

I don't see Enrique coming on board for the last two months of the season.

Any good manager out there won't join in the middle of this mess of a situation.

Feel like somehow beating Dortmund has actually cost the club a chance to get in a good manager and we'll have to put up with another 10 games of "the boys gave everything" as we proceed to get humiliated by Real Madrid, Arsenal, United, probably even Liverpool on Tuesday.

I fear Nagelsmann also would be a bad pick. He's been hunting for a 'mole' in the Bayern dressing room the last few weeks, sacked a popular goalkeeping coach, had a row with Sadio Mane and had a difficult relationship with the Bayern director.

Nagelsmann's only 35 but seems to have been around for ages now and seems to be in a crisis himself. I very much prefer Luis Enrique if his English is good.

if there was a time for match going fans to make themselves heard, now this is it. This can’t be accepted at a club like Chelsea, with the history of success and competitiveness they have, especially with the players they have at their disposal. Roman would never allow things to become this dire, Boehly is a clown and needs to take all the heat for what is happening to this club right now.

He even looks like a scruffy nobody in the picture by comparison. Emery is a class act.

Emery has coached Sevilla to Europa League titles multiple times, led Villareal their as well, has also managed PSG/Arsenal.   He knows what it takes to manage at the top level.

Compare that to Potter who has only had exposure with Brighton....and it becomes clear that he is Moyes 2.0 (just like Moyes crashed & burned at United...Potter is making Chelsea a mid table club).

What I hate about Potter is that he has no response to the rubbish performances on the pitch.  I didn't mind us losing a few games under Lampard's management as at least we knew he had the Chelsea connection and he was a young manager giving it a go.  We lose games under Potter and it's always the same line: "we gave everything"   "we all feel pain"

Emery must have been having a laugh when he saw the teamsheet and it was Koulibaly/Cucurella as the CB's.  Neither player can be trusted to defend properly and you decide to put them together....
