9 draws lol, that in its self is mind blowing 🤣

we have 7 draws now, but NUFC and Brentford, both having one less game played than us (they each have played 23, we have played 24 games), already have 11 draws each

Brentford are potentially 7 points above us (with both of us on 24 games played)

NUFC are potentially 13 points (wtf) above us on 24 games played each

It's just a shambles, all of it- as well as embarrassing the fact we are looking at people like Arteta and hoping he comes across with some sympathy for Potter.

You have dug this hole but I think your too deep Mr Potter

To be fair its not really Potters fault -Primarily it's Clearlake, several multi millionaire investors, the Swiss billionaire Hansjorg Wyss, and Boehly's Dodgers partner Mark Walter. Boehly, the one wearing the scarves and bobble  hat is the front man/cheerleader.  They need to act

Well...there is a certain Portuguese manager out there who has a history of winning at Chelsea and he shows his emotions on the sidelines..

Please no. Not what we need.

As I’ve said before, I wouldn’t be surprised in the least if Mou is lobbying hard through his agent and intermediaries for the job. He’d return to a heroes welcome by the match going supporters and most likely would turn us around in the short term. But things would eventually go the way they always go with him.

Depends how desperate Boehly is for short term success. Jose would probably work very well next season but then….?

I think I saw a report on the BBC last night, that to sack potter and assuming all his staff will cost 93 million. Don't no if that's right but still was a bad read.

Im pretty sure managers contracts also have performance based clauses. For example, sacked out of nothing while in all competitions = 100% pay out of remaining contract. Sacked after missing our on top 4 = X% pay out. Etc etc

Wasnt that why United waited to sack their manager until top 4 were mathematical impossible?

Maybe that's exactly why we are holding out.

“We were talking before the game about watching All or Nothing and Arsenal, two years into Mikel’s reign he’s close to getting the sack and people are wanting him out and it’s a disaster. And now things have changed a little bit – and that’s just the way it is."

Can't believe what I'm reading. No wonder the squad looks dejected every game when watching Arsenal fail is used as a motivational tool. 🤦‍♂️ Small club mentality.

That's nothing, Chelsea have 6 goals since November, that's the lowest in the top 4 English LEAGUES PL Champ L1 and L2,

Also 40 points is the safe spot for relegation, we have 2 wins in 16, so to be "SAFE" we need 3 wins in 14 😱😱😱😱

Not that It would be an achievement but 35 points is usually enough these days.

Thiago Silva should be back mid-April for the relegation crunch games vs Arsenal, Manchester United, Manchester City and Newcastle United

I find that hard to believe. I think that's a bit of basic mathematical journalism where they're just working out contract costs, etc and assuming a termination would be for full amounts.

There's been a lot of talk from pretty reputable journalists that suggest the players that have been signed under the new ownership are on lower base salaries than the previous regime and a number of incentives and clauses designed on one hand to reward but on the other hand protect the club from losses in earnings.

If this is all true, I find it incredibly difficult to believe that there isn't similar consideration in the contracts of Potter and his staff, as well as cost effective 'get outs' if necessary. No matter how much the club might want this Potter appointment to work out, you'd still expect them to protect their position if it didn't.

Don't want Mourinho.

I would rather take Lampard back then getting Mourinho back.

But as far as coaches available I don't know who to get. If they want short term go with Bielsa, he will do good for a season or two and that's it.
