Fuck knows who we go for now because if Nagelsmann, Poch and Enrique are (would likely imagine they would be anyway to get a full pre-season) waiting to the summer, then getting someone half decent on an interim basis for like 2-3 months, its not going to be easy.

Maybe Todd Boehly will ask Dave Grohl seeing as he hired his physio….

It had to end.. Club was patient with him, he wasn’t sacked after few bad games, but more than 6 months have passed and he still seems to have no idea how our team should play and we hardly have any stable points in the starting eleven.

Taking over this big mess was out of his experience/strenght, but have to say it is incredibly tough situation for any manager.

Hopefully TB can appoint the right person who can start building next season team, no pressure from now on.

We finished 5th with Conte in-charge. There are no ideal candidates IMO.

Also, you forgot to mention Zidane.

We’d be insane to consider Zidane who hasn’t done a thing outside of those mentality monster Real Madrid sides. He’d be an even riskier appointment than Potter was. I wasn’t even convinced about what he actually did at Real Madrid where he just stood on the touch line not doing much.

Don’t think he’d consider us either, tbf. He wants to land at another cushy, low pressure job I think.

Low pressure & RM? 🤨 Those two don't go together.

I'm not saying we should go anywhere near him, btw. I just brought him up as another notable name that's available.

So we sacked Tuchel to end up with Nagelsmann who was sacked so Bayern can end up with Tuchel?

No Way Wtf GIF by Harlem

Would be fun if we somehow managed to past Real Madrid with Nagelsmann and ended up playing against Tuchel and Bayern in the next round.

Real suit us. Not worried about them but hopefully Bayern can eliminate City.

Not to mention his woeful record in Europe. We'd effectively be throwing away the UCL pedigree this group have got if we rehire him.

I wouldn't have him back anyway out of principal (will never forgive his behaviour in the last months) but that is a huge red flag also.

It’s clearly going to be Naglesmann. I’m content with that but not really excited. I desperately want Chelsea to appoint a coach who when before they even arrive you know what sort of football and philosophy to expect. I have no clue what Naglesmann’s style or characteristics are since I haven’t watched German football.

His Bayern side pretty effortlessly brushed aside some massive teams in this seasons UCL, but apparently he’s been mediocre in a shit Bundesliga.

Is he an upgrade on Potter? Probably. Is he someone who I look at and think “thank God, we have a proper manager who will have us competing at the top again?” Not really.
