One week to go...

Miazga, Sarr, Castillo, JCS, Sterling, Rahman, Van Ginkel, Drinkwater, Bakayoko, Musonda, Moses, Emerson/Alonso, Rudiger, Jorginho, Kepa, RLC are still here...

We need to offload more than 2 players per day. And maybe some guys from academy like Maatsen, Anjorin will go on loan too...

Worth remembering that a domestic-only window will run from Oct 5 to Oct 16.

Tottenham are interested in signing Antonio Rüdiger from Chelsea.

It is thought he would consider a loan move away for more first-team games, having not played at all so far this season.

Hard to believe Sky Sports these days if the rumors start from them...

Loan here.

Loan there.

Loan everywhere.

Shut up and buy.

We don't need to sell right now.

The FFP monitoring period now takes 2019-20 and 2020-21 season as one entity. So the hazard, luiz, kalas, aina, hector, lamptey, etc etc sales along with Morata, pasalic cover us FFP wise (swiss ramble did a good piece on it).

Makes more sense to off load them next season to boost our "profit by player sales" plus actually get better prices for a fair few of them and then use it to buy whoever FL would want them (for eg a world class CB).

news from germany is that alaba will run out his contract and leave for free. would be nice if we can buy him in january for a lowered price like 20m euros or something.

ofc if he lowers his wage demands.

zero chance, he will use the free nature of the transfer to demand an insane Barca or Real Madrid wage packet

like Ramsey at Juve

Why sell for like half the price when we can loan and sell for more next year?

Coronavirus is hitting clubs hard. No ones buying players. There's a reason we get Werner havertz etc relatively unchallenged this window

I'd like us to get a proper DM in before the window shuts.

that was not what I was talking about

I was replying that Alaba will not reduce his wages demands

if we want him, we will have to splash huge wages

I do not think that Alaba is unobtanium level in terms of bigness

only a handful on the planet are there atm, at that level, and most of them are there because they are also EPL (plus 2 have a negative past with us)

Kylian Mbappé   (IF we had built the new stadium, we could have afforded him easily, as we would have close to £100m more in revenue each year, which covers even his insane wages, plus helps with the transfer fee)

Raheem Sterling  (I cannot see him coming here, he will go cash in perhaps at Real or Barca in a few years when Pep leaves and Shitty falls down)

Neymar (he turns 30yo in 16 months, so soon he goes off the list)  next summer is his last big cash in chance

Sadio Mané   (he turns 30yo in 18 months, so soon he goes off the list)   next summer is his last big cash in chance

Mohamed Salah   (he turns 30yo in 20 months, so soon he goes off the list)   next summer is his last big cash in chance

Kevin De Bruyne  (he turns 30 right after this season ends (tempus fugit!!!), so he also soon goes off the list soon too, although we will play at a high level to an older age than Neymar, Sane, or Salah IMHO, as he is not nearly as pace dependent)

every other player is within the realm of possibility, even Sancho and Håland, etc <<< NOT saying we move for them btw)

If we can do a zappacosta (loan + extension), it would help us in getting the current amortization of players down, keep the length of contract as long.

Rudi, baka, emerson should be dealt that ways in my opinion.
