I would say there is a decent chance Hall makes it as a premier league player, a low/medium chance that he makes it as a player for a top 10 side and an extremely small chance he makes it as a player at the level of the Chelsea that we want to be: title contenders/winners every year. And, the lad wanted to go. Anyone saying the club has done wrong here... I just can't agree. The ONLY argument might be that we should have given him a PL loan without an obligation and sell him next year or the year after, which the club was obviously considering. But the lad wanted to go, and now we have absolutely no risk and guaranteed cash on the table with a sell on clause.

🚨️Mauricio Pochettino says Reece James is being assessed day by day following a hamstring injury and insists he will come back stronger.

It's not a major issue and the expectation is he will be out for weeks at the moment but won't rush recovery.

Chelsea still looking to add to their wing positions this summer
Yeremy Pino, Brennan Johnson, Jeremy Doku, Bradley Barcola.

It's a shame Nico Williams is not being linked with us.

Anyone give a rundown on Pino? Any good?

Who out of those 4 would y'all be keen on?

🚨 Mauricio Pochettino on the size of squad he wants:

"22-23 players plus players from the academy is good. Not bigger than that. 22-23 players would be the perfect number for us at the moment when not in European competition."

If he is still deciding against surgery, then its just a ticking time bomb. He will be injured 3 matches after he's back.

Is there a surgery that can fix both hamstrings and joints?

Poch’s comments there about not wanted to block Broja’s pathway surely confirms that we will indeed be after more of a wide attacker and NOT another striker.

I’m good with that. We just have to make sure we get ourselves one who is clinical and whose main focus is on being aggressive and SCORING goals rather than just creating them like Olise. That’s why I didn’t really get that move. We need a Luis Diaz/Sadio Mané type of attacker.

I think he's built up a lot of scar tissue on that hamstring. A decision needs to be made if surgery is required to clean it up or he needs to go through a vigorous rehabilitation program on mobility.
