Eddie Howe on Lewis Hall deal: “It’s loan deal. He’s a player I like — very versatile with really good potential”. 🚨

“Let’s see what happens today. If we do bring a player in (Hall), that will be our transfer business concluded, unless injuries”.

Phew I am very glad it's looking like a loan rather than permanent! Although Newcastle are clearly a direct rival and I'd rather he went to a mid table side...this could do wonders for him (and us) long term.

What an incredible midfield rebuild, man. It almost doesn’t seems real! It would ordinarily take clubs years to phase out an old generation and completely refresh the team with new players. We’ve done it in 6 months!

The final pieces for this summer window are a backup keeper and a goal scoring attacker of some sort. And with the way the club are moving I trust that we’ll have something unexpected and pleasantly surprising done before the deadline.

Wait for details, it might be loan with obligation/option to buy.

It's a loan with obligation, he is gone.

Remember very early on after we sold Livramento he performed really well for the Saints and we were a bit annoyed. Same thing with Lamptey when he had those explosive first months at Brighton and there were small portions of our fanbase questioning if we made a mistake selling him because he may be better than Reece. And then that feeling faded completely and we don’t really think much about either of those players anymore.

It’ll likely be the same thing with Lewis Hall. He’ll be a very solid player at Newcastle but we are stacked in both of the positions he plays in. We knew with all this spending that some tough decisions were looming. Expect a couple more before September 1.

I read that it was loan with an obligation to buy for £28 M

Lewis Hall to Newcastle, here we go! Loan deal with mandatory buy option clause — medical booked later today 🚨️ #NUFC

Total package worth £35m add-ons included. “This is gonna be our final signing”, Howe announced.

Hall leaves after signing new deal at #CFC few days ago.

Chelseayouth twitter already is having a meltdown about this. I know Hall is young but I don't think he is anything special, will be good player nothing more.
