Hence why both need massive upgrading. Rose is just as bad, if not worse.

Of course they need upgrading but unfortunately the board know little about football, in fact come the summer, one if not both will still be here.

Well then leave the criticism during the summer when actual upgrades are available.

So far the board have kept their end of the bargain of not making any more panic buys. Let’s see what happens when they’ve had virtually a whole year to prepare for this summer window

I will criticise as I see fit, and will continue to do so.

I don’t find any rational of criticising the board for not obtaining upgrades when there are no available upgrades.

Please don't talk about upgrades on players when we have Giroud who's better than Bathsuayi and he can't even get a kick in....

Piatek was available, he is better than Batshit, we just won't spend money because we are tight bastards and would rather dice with death on 4th spot and hope, it's come to that, it really has.

If Giroud is forced to stay, then he really needs to play more, otherwise we'd be tossers for keeping but not playing him.

he's third in the pecking order, and unless something drastic happens that is where he stays.

I feel so sorry for the bloke and Frank said today in his PC he has been the ultimate pro.

he has to play for a technical point of view, there is not comparison between him and bats

Danny Rose is a fucking shambles. Spurs fans are over the moon he’s gone.

Names please.

lol, you must not read many of my posts

I have ranted on about left backs for ages

there are 4 that could have been done this window

we could have gotten around 55-65m for both Emerson and Alsonso combined or used them as swap bait/makeweight

so

then the options to buy

Alex Telles (£32m RC)  this is the one that enrages me, vast upgrade to anything we have, Alonso sale would have covered the whole cost or damn near Telles is a superb passer and free kick taker, decent on defence, he has 51 assists in the past 3 and half years tracking to 10 goals thsi year, is a proven CL player

Robin Gosens (we have/had the ideal swap in Emerson, who is in demand in Italy, is an Italian citizen, and slots in well for Atalanta) Gosens is tracking to 16-18 gaols over 4000 minute season, I have watched the shit out him, he is a vast upgrade, big 1.84m, cannon shot, great motor

Alejandro Grimaldo (£51m RC, a bit pricey but still doable, many rate hm here) has stated he would love to play in the EPL

A must must consider for this summer is Theo Hernández, he has been a BEAST so far for Milan, close to, if not THE best LB in Serie A this season, other than maybe Gosens, Theo another big LB

José Gayà 85m RC, so basically Chilwell money, too expensive for me, no clue if Valencia would give in a bit

every one of those is an upgrade, a clear one over what we have

another option could have been, and can be this summer is Luca Pellegrini, on loan from Juve (who reallllly want Emerson) at Cagliari, I have watched him around 6 times, he is a great young player, looks sound, very technical, athletic, oki (same as Chilwell) size, basically an Italian Chilwell clone, turns 21 in March

another of my warnings (walk on frees in the summer) coming home to roost.

Latest Chelsea youth team star leaves for reduced price

https://www.chelsea-news.co/2020/01/latest-chelsea-youth-team-star-leaves-reduced-price/

In his press conference earlier today Frank Lampard said that Chelsea’s transfer window was 95% done, and we might just have found out what the missing 5% was.

Clinton Mola has agreed terms with FC Stuttgart, leaving Chelsea for £400,000 and a 10% sell on fee. That low fee has been conditioned by his expiring contract, but it’s still a big blow.

The academy star has been a shining light for a few seasons in the youth team, and losing him just as he’s ready to enter men’s football is a massive blow.

they want to play football I guess, for a bigger team that kickabouts with the U23's

a long time ago I commented on Sancho going to the Bundesliga and blowing up

it would have a knock-on effect on many young English lads
