Pizy 18,994
Pedro Neto is definitely the sort of player we should be targeting in terms of style. Direct, super skillful, aggressive. Was excellent yesterday against Leeds. But I’m not seeing us linked anywhere. bohops, Alabama and King Kante

With as shit as United look with McFred they may very well get spanked by Brentford next weekend 🤣. Then they’ll offer Frenkie £500k a week plus name Old Trafford after him in desperation. Seriously though, it should be easy enough to speak with his agent and find out whether or not he’d be willing to join us, surely? I would really hope that he was discussed during the Alonso negotiations. The one constant is that he wants CL football. If that truly is the case, we have nothing to worry about in terms of competition. It comes to whether we want him or not. 1 hour ago, Marvin123 said: Neto (wolves)to Chelsea. He can say CL is very important but if for instance we offer him the same ~£300k per week that we gave Sterling whilst United offer him £400k or more he may think that extra cash is more appealing than CL footy. He's not even getting paid at Barcelona and has yet to force a move. I think that says enough. Vesper

I cannot believe we missed out on BOTH, ffs RW is a fairly weak global position, especially left-footers after Salah, Foden, Saka, and Bernardo Silva (who is a MFer as well) all 4 of whom are are left footers, there is a large drop off in RWers overall, down to the injured (if he fully recovers he joins the top group) Chiesa (who is a right footer anyway and often plays on the left) and then true RWers Raphinha (left footer, who can also become truly elite) and Moussa Diaby (left footer, same as Raphinha) and Jarrod Bowen (perhaps eleite), then 3 more right footers, Gnabry, Coman, and Rodrygo the ONLY remotely decent left footed (or ambipedal) wingers (not just RW) out there atm are (RWers in bold. and there are, atm only 6 elite left footed RWers out there, plus the ambipedal Dembele) the ones in red are players I would take (I am listing many who are not even available, like Son and Salah, etc) (I am not even bothering with Messi on the list) Mohamed Salah Phil Foden Bukayo Saka Bernardo Silva can play almost anywhere in MF (other than DMF) or on either wing Moussa Diaby Mikel Oyarzabal plays majority at LW (bad knee injury, not available until summer 2023) Leroy Sané plays majority at LW Raphinha grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr Jarrod Bowen Dejan Kulusevski Riyad Mahrez big dropoff Marco Asensio Antony Domenico Berardi Nicolò Zaniolo Pedro Neto plays majority at LW Charles De Ketelaere Filip Kostic plays majority at LW/LWB Michael Olise Thomas Lemar Nicolás González plays either wing Leon Bailey plays majority at LW Viktor Tsygankov Pablo Sarabia Maxwel Cornet plays majority at LW and LWB grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr Noni Madueke Bryan Mbeumo Romain Faivre Tetê Malcom David Neres Francisco Trincão Samuel Chukwueze Dwight McNeil plays majority at LW Kayky Luiz Henrique Ángel Di María Giovani 18yo Palmeiras and 5 ambipedal wingers Heung-min Son plays majority at LW Ousmane Dembélé grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr Rayan Cherki 18, very soon 19yo youth on Lyon, has a BIT of Eden Hazard about him Lucas Ocampos plays majority at LW Khvicha Kvaratskhelia plays majority at LW 21yo just joined Napoli or would be red Rayan Cherki Edited August 8, 2022 by Vesper Blues11

They don't have the same space and leave the width to the wingbacks so you don't have as many chances to take players one on one. Wish we were more diverse offensively depending on the situation and opponent. Sterling has experience playing centrally so that was a great pickup. Doesn't look like anything will change so we really need a striker before anything else in attack.

Havertz, Broja, Sterling, Mount, Pulisic and one more is fine for depth. If really needed, Gallagher or Carney can play in the front three as well. Last couple of seasons the squad's been too bloated so trimming it to a more healthy level of competition is not a bad thing IMO.

Never was that big a fan when previously linked to him but after seeing all these expensive big name attacking signings from other leagues not being all that great (Lukaku, Werner, Havertz, Pulisic, Ziyech) and our own Hudson-Odoi not developing as much as we'd hoped I wouldn't necessarily say no to Zaha anymore. He's a PL proven player who averages around 15 G+A in the league per season and can play any position in the front three. Not a world class player by any means but would improve the squad and for me definitely a better punt than someone like Depay or Aubameyang. The forward market is really dry at the moment, as proved by United's pursuit of Arnautovic. Zaha's contract at Palace runs out in 2023 so maybe he'd be available at a decent price too?
