Blues11 213
Raphina and Sterling is good business. Would still love to see a midfielder be signed but good start if those two signings do occur.

chelsea_4_eva 1,182
If we are pulling the trigger on both Sterling and Raphinha, that tells me that we are confident of off loading 2 of our attackers (Puli/Ziyech/Werner). Which also could be a sign that we are confident of getting De Ligt (hopefully) as 2 of those names are linked with that deal. We will see. MoroccanBlue 5,385
Just need a hard working midfield to complement the attacking/creative prowess of James, Chilwell, Sterling, Raphinha, and Havertz.
Marvin123 539
Chelsea are sending the Raheem Sterling bid in the next hours, it will be £35-40m with add ons. ( @LucaBendoni - Team @DiMarzio ) #CFC 🔵
Magic Lamps 11,692
Not over the moon, we are obviously overpaying plus he will turn 26 in December already. But he is definitely a baller. Pacey, skilful, hard working is exactly what we need. Just need him to up his goal rate. Otherwise could be another Willian signing. Looking neat and tidy on the ball, speed dribbler with the occasional wonder goal but no consistent threat. But he is left footed unlike Willy which already gives him a bit of an edge Fernando

There were a few pens among those, I think 4? I am not talking about this season tho. His overall career output is very similar to Willian’s at this point also having played in minor leagues mostly the quality of raphinhas goals from open play has been excellent in most cases tho. The same was true for Willian however So it could be a bad sign I.e. a scorer of great goals is not a great goal scorer or it could also mean that provided with more possession and service he might score even more I guess we will see very pleased something is finally getting done Superblue

Pizy 18,984
Think it’s abundantly clear now that Tuchel’s vision this summer was to target attacking players who are already performing at a high level in the PL. He has witnessed firsthand how Chelsea are repeatedly burned by wide attackers coming in from other leagues and struggling to adapt. Must admit, I never in a million years would’ve thought that a couple of super expensive attacking players would be the first order of business for us this summer. The desperate need for CB’s had me convinced that we’d want to wrap up a couple of deals ASAP. I hope we can get de Ligt or Skriniar in really quickly before another club wakes up and starts a bidding war. Fernando

He definitely has the talent there to do so and like I've said before we don't necessarily need a 20 goal player if we have multiple players get 8, 10, 12, 15 goals a season. Hopefully he is one that can fall into this bracket. Ironically I think we've missed Willian's ability to carry the ball since he left. None of our attackers do this as effectively as he used to and I can see why Tuchel would want a player of that ilk and someone who can be dangerous and creative in 1v1 situations. He definitely has the ability to not just open things up for himself but for other players too. He could form a pretty potent right hand side with Reece. If the talk of a £200m war chest is accurate then Raphinha, Sterling and De Ligt if they all happened are going to use up an awful lot of that unless De Ligt's price can be driven down by player exchanges. I'm fine with that. They all seem to be first choice targets and they all feel on the face to be genuine quality additions to the squad. A couple of the loan players coming back in too, and there will be quite a significant freshening up of the squad. I just hope beyond the above three, there's maybe something in the budget to sort out the wing back areas too. Some real competition to Chilwell and James on either flank would be ideal.
