Pizy 18,897
Right, so the easy bit is done which was agreeing on KK’s side. Now for the hard bit where everything can fall apart: dealing with that asshole De Laurentiis who could wake up one morning and decide to add €20m to the asking price. 🤣

Colwill is unproven at Premier League level.. Ake is. That matters. This year it's PL proven if he went out and showed he could handle this league on loan at say Southampton the next argument will be he's not proven here. Sometimes (like with James) it's just too obvious. FYI I'm not even against signing Ake aslong as the price is right, there's room for both. 24 minutes ago, Kong said: Sorry but until he plays in the Premier league you simply can't compare them. Relying on a youngster woth no Premier league experience is suicide But what if we had that mindset with James, Mount and even Trevoh to an extent? If Todd was demanding the title at all costs I could (somewhat) understand it but Tuchel is too good a manager to fail at top four. Pizy 18,897
I think 3 new, expensive CB’s is overkill. Unless Colwill is going out on loan again. Use the money on a wingback!
Mário César 1,252
kimpembe + ake + koulibaly not bad at all chilwell (emerson/ake) Koulibaly Thiago Sivla (ake/chalobah/dude from our academy/Kimpembe) Reece James (RWB/??) this?

Alabama 1,992
3 defenders is an overkill...pull out of Ake deal and sign Kimpembe.... Magic Lamps and bigbluewillie 1

Artandur 939
Hope the third "defender" he is referring to is a wing back Magic Lamps
Pizy 18,897
I don’t even rate Kimpembe but would still prefer him than spending £45-50m on Aké. guddy69 and bigbluewillie 1

My original post was asking why he thought colwill is superior to ake I was saying he isn't Premier league proven so as it stands you can't compare the players I haven't once said don't play him. chelsea_4_eva 1,182
I think TT should assess Colwill first before pulling the trigger on Ake, a move which will cost us £45M if City dont lower their demand.

If we sign Koulibaly, I would hope we hold off on buying Ake. Let Colwill come in.
