Let's hope Abramovich's statement has reassured players and fans so now heads are clear for this final.

Don't think we will be completely unaffected tho. Surely it makes Liverpool even bigger favourites. We need a huge performance to once again wn vs all odds. Surely every formerly neutral fan as well as the refs will be against us big time now even more than usual vs the media darlings. Will be a massive uphill battle.

We were pretty much better in any of 3 meetings against them under Tuchel so we have their number. They are not favorites. 

But we were also better in 3 games against City and they completely outplayed us in last 2 games due to TT approach. So hope he doesn't change winning formula.

Don't want to sound the pesimist but I really can't see us winning this tomorrow. I will be gutted but not overly upset considering for me, we are clewr underdogs based on form.

Well that is because in the first three games we didn't have Lukaku and in the last two we did. Anyone watching our first three and City's games against Spurs and Everton would have noted that to get success against them you need the front line pressing like crazy. 

Not possible with Lukaku in the team.

Seems like rather than just directing their venom at Abramovich himself the entire football world is treating Chelsea itself as the enemy. So we can probably expect an extremely hostile, poisonous atmosphere at Wembley today and for the remainder of the season.

Hopefully the players don’t get rattled.
