Sad to lose a final in such dramatic fashion but it’s the League Cup so it’s hard to get upset. Especially after such an encouraging performance. Thought we were every bit as good as they were and if we had our full strength XI all season we’d be right there with them competeting for the league. 
 

Delighted that Reece is back and looked good having not played in a couple months.

no, it was during the halftime replays, and also during the live game the presenters said he was quite possibly offside, bit he missed so no VAR

Lukaku did score a goal - must have been millimeters offside.
Overall he did not impress again but if for any reason it was him in the Pulisic-Mount-Mount chances it would have been three goals.

when you miss multiple sitters and on top of that have repeated offside goals against a great team you either (at best, if all you goals are chalked off plus every good chance is a miss) end in a draw or end up in crapshoot pen shootouts
