Massive wake up call. As a pure footballing side we are miles behind City. The passing and moving, the triangles, the extreme comfort on the ball. They’re miles ahead in those departments. And the biggest gulf is how many chances they create in the final third compared to us. They carved us open and would’ve scored 4 had it not been for Mendy being brilliant.

We looked clueless going forward the few times we actually did. Aimless crosses hoping Rom could bail us out.

Lukaku coming into this team has completely upset the rhythm of our attacking play.

Our players look clueless going forward.

Very worrying when our best passing player in Kova can't put a through ball into 40 yards of space.

Also, we allowed the smallest man on the pitch to boss it on our home patch. Bernardo Silva just effortlessly dominated our whole midfield.

Think about that. We had Kante, Jorginho, AND Kova and let that little dwarf run the entire game. 🙃🙃🙃

Err. Of course they are 🤣🤣🤣 they have been doing this for years.

If they had a decent striker they would have been out of sight already.

Our aim is still Top 4 - we are at least 3 players off challenging for the title.

Another one of Tuchel's odd setups costing us the match. Setup too defensively with neither Kante or Kovacic having the ability to carry the ball out of City's high press.

Should have changed it at half time, or at least shortly after, seeing how it was clearly failing.

But not going to whine about it. He gets it right far more often than wrong, and after this relentless barrage of tricky fixtures, he deserves leeway.

City deserved to win this match.
