Harry Kane

Couldn't help but chuckle at the Bamford comparisons, because I know if Kane was playing for us in this form, everybody would be drowning in their cum and think Bamford is a pub on a corner of some suburbian street.

The guy seems to have it all, but it's crucial things don't go over his head, that he copes with the pressure, avoids serious injuries yada yada... But as long as he's a spud I will be rooting for his failure and demise.

Chelsea fans that come to TC? Pffffff

We have one of the best strikers in the world at the moment, one of the guys with the best goal-return and who has an attitude that few players - regardless of position - have. go to his thread and have a read. I don't see people 'drowning in their cum', I see a bunch of spoiled brats that don't know the first thing about supporting. They're all smiles, praise and cum swimming when he's scoring, but come from all holes saying all kind of shit when the guy goes through a very short drop of form or is taking the absurdity of three matches to regain his best form after being sidelined for a few weeks because of a ban. So, no, it wouldn't matter if he was at Chelsea or not, people would be moaning about him whenever he went 3-4 matches without scoring or had 2 bad days of linkup in a row. That's how this forum rolls.

But if we bought him and sold him, then they'd be drowning in Kane's cum, sucking his D - just too keep with the analogy you chose to use.

The joy on this forum over Kane is because he is english and people here who are english are excited because he can give england alot in future.

No doubt Kane is good and hit of season, but next year there will be pressure. And first let him have two good seasons, see him watch perform for top club and in CL and then we wil see how far will Kane go. Maybe one of best but also maybe as another "could be".

Bas Dost is in top form too, but isnt getting half the recognition Kane does.

From our perspective, we have Costa and so far it works very well.

P.S. the ballon dor comparisons are ridiculous btw, the perfect overhyping of english player.

It's hilarious how some are trying so so hard to downplay him. The denial or should I say bitterness is strong with this one.

You are infatuated with Kane.

Calling it now, screencapture this post.

You're killing me, Spike.

At the next World Cup he'll make Geoff Hurst's hattrick look pathetic. More deserving of than armband than Bobby Moore.

Pretty much this. Only English members on here are hyping him up. And Henrique cause he hates everything about Chelsea and resents Costa for becoming a Spaniard.

He is an example of making use of whatever opportunities you get.

People say KDB and Salah didn't get games to prove themselves but Kane only really had Europa, but he uses that to force his way in and get chances in the PL, then took those chances when they came.

When your in a highly competitive squad and out of favour, you have to be ready to take whatever chance you get for that to change, even if it's merely the league cup at Shrewsbury.

Bas dost isn't getting the same recognition because he's just essentially a poacher in top form(he was the same in the dutch league, so his goal scoring form this season shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone). Kane on the otherhand is getting the recognition because his overall performance (not just goal scoring) is and has been excellent in what has been a remarkable breakthrough season. Its the same way I don't rate strikers like old darren bent, huntelar, chicharito, papiss cisse (back when he couldnt stop scoring) et al even when they are in top goal scoring form because they have no other qualities to their game unlike kane who even if he stops scoring would still be able to contribute.

  • 2 weeks later...

Joint prem top scorer right now. Surpassed Aguero in the golden boot race now. People still will doubt him however.... icon_rolleyes.gif

He is an example of why it's good to know how to keep the ball well under pressure. When he's on bad form and the passes and shots aren't working, at least he can still keep a ball from markers unlike almost everyone in our attack.

His finishing is lethal, he's a real talent, as real as when I saw rooney.

That certainly would have been one of the greatest additions to our squad since the Roman Empire began.

If we had Modric now, alongside Matic with Fabregas ahead in the number 10 role. Hazard and Willian on the flanks with Costa spearheading the attack.

HOLY SHIT.. we would be unstoppable!

I have maintained throughout the season that he's better and far more talented than Costa. His all round play is a delight to watch. Just what you need in a modern day striker. Him, Aguero and Giroud are the stand out strikers in the league in terms of overall package and quality for me.

I have a question about Kane: Has there been a rumor about a possible our interest in Harry Kane or are just wishes?

Surely Harry Kane is having a great season. Perhaps the best player that has appeared in the Premier League since Gareth Bale. Good placement, great shot, very fast ...

I maintain that rather Diego Costa than Harry Kane. I think Diego, without injury, may be the best striker in the world with us. He has struggled with hamstring early in the season and problems with the Spanish national team. That and the persecuacion because of their behavior by cheap philosophers have undermined their performance. But Diego Costa is our best signing as 9 since we signed Didier Drogba.

However, in all teams Jose usually have two great strikers competing for a place in the starting eleven. That fosters competitiveness in the team.

If there exists a our interest in Harry Kane maybe we could have both played a game each week. Jose did with Benzema and Higuain at Real Madrid with phenomenal results.

Diego has been injured and hard to play two games a week. Maybe it could be an option.

Kane also can play several positions, not just pure 9.

I prefer Diego Costa undoubtedly, but considering the youth of Kane Perhaps we should be on alert for any chance of signing him

In addition he is English. Have a great player of your country can helps to have more support and, above all, less enemies in your league. I think all the teams have to be a great player of his country and perhaps Kane can be a good option.

This has nothing to do with patriotism or nationalism, but Raul, Puyol, Xavi, Maldini, Beckham, Gerrard, Lampard, Terry ... Such players give identity to a team.
(also a foreign player can give identity to a team, but is different)

If there is an opportunity to have both can be an interesting option, but Diego Costa begins ahead.

Regards.

I would bet there is a good chance Kane wins the POTY over Hazard .

As he should. I will have it as kane, sanchez, aguero and hazard in that order. I can't remeber a more impressive and spectacular breakthrough/debut season in the league's history. Not even shearer 1992 premier league debut season was this good.

Shut up please. You love to bash our player, staff, and fans over and over. You rarely have something positive. You're just as bad as overly optimistic fans.
