100% agree he should be in the middle not on the wing.

we do not need Giroud for this type of game

Lamps is bizarre, as when we DID need him (versus the scouse vermin) he didn't toss him on from the start

Chilwell had a very good half. Impressing to say the least.
Mendy looking pretty decent so far. His distribution isn't as bad as they made out.
Werner is a gunman. Pure killer.
I think he's been good. It looks better because in comparison to what we are used to but he hasn't had much to do.

Super happy Werner got the goal and mendy got to make a save should be confidence boosters.

All good with having Jorginho and Kovacic to control possession in midfield but FML, is it too much to ask for them to pass forward instead of backwards or sideways!?

Illegal 🚫 pass forward detected 🤣🤣🤣

We are too relaxed. No urgency. Treating this as this is a training match.

Luckily for us, Spuds have no bite upfront...so far.

We always play like this. People think that Pulisic and Ziyech will change everything. But thats not the case in my opinion, Frank has no clue what kind of playstyle he wants for this team.

It will hurt us in the long run, I hope he changes his ways.

the reason we are so toothless and non vertical has a name

Jorginho

he is a human rain delay

saw it under Sarri

saw it last year

see it now

he bends the team to his go-slow will

its not a good thing

DMF is our Achilles heel

plus Lamps lack of defensive tactical and defensive coaching intuition (same for set pieces)

Yeah Spurs just backing off because we play both Jorginho and Kova. Both are very capable of running our build up and if Spurs press and we get out of it they are screwed.. different when we play Kante as our opponents just press his partner and our build up have to go through Kante or long balls.

We really need to find a perfect partner to Kovacic.

That Mendy save by the way is a basic goalkeeping save. You expect a half decent GK to save that. I'm however glad that we finally have GK who can do basic saves now.

Facts but it was the catch after that made me happier.
