Though I am actually satisfied that he hardly plays.

My dumbfoundedness relates to why we have him in the roster - Mikel is a solution in search of a problem that Chelsea fc don't have.

See if I buy into the burned out idea caused by little to no rotation, then I look at the roster and understand why we do not rotate.

I recur because it is a recurring problem - not Mikel himself but him not being the type of player we need (to rotate).

if mikel was a young player i wouldn't think much about it him smirking but he is now a senior team member (more than costa) after over 300 appearance in this club being paid huge amt of money ...maybe iam thinking too harsh but he should act more responsibly.

He won't go anywhere unless we sign a defensive midfielder from somewhere. Shouldn't forget that Matic is suspended for the Champions League last 16 first leg. So, a back up is definitely needed.
