HUGE loss. Kovacic is vital for both our shielding of the backline and for the transition to offense. Jorginho cant defend, Kante cant play an accurate forward pass so we are basically blunt in terms of couner attacks which is one of the very few reliable ways to score vs City. We can only hope he is fit for the CL semis.

He did not feature in the any of the CL finals so far tho. Still his experience might be helpful. really hope he is fit. not sure he will play tho. guess the next few games will decide.

Thought he was brilliant when he came on. His tight dribbling allowed us to carry the ball up the field a bit more and take some of the constant pressure off in the second half.
