All of our correspondents have been saying Sarri wanted reassurances and the club refused to meet them. Add to the fact our board willingly let him, screams more truth to this.

Lampard is an intelligent man, and he more than anyone should understand the circus our board room is when it comes to managerial appointments. What reassurences did he want since we have a ban in place? The Club cant dictate what fans do and say regarding a manager. We can all agree its a cluster fuck we are in atm, a huge shake up needed, but this is the hand we are dealt with, he found an easier, less challenging venture and grabbed hold of it. Its not only its a better offer closer to home, its also he knew he was a dead man walking, and if we are going by what sarri says then this has been planned for some time now. Whatever he is gone now, we have bigger issues to content with.....but he was still never a Chels manager to begin with.

With this squad plus zero Eden, many would flinch at that. I doubt even this board would be foolish enough to demand this and that in these conditions. But it doesnt mean you cant be savy though, to play to your strenghts in these times, and I dont see Sarri do that. He would have gone along doing his typical tactics......and that we dont need when its tough enough already.

I find it funny that some keep mentioning Conte's second season and Jose's third season as a stick. Why dont you mention the title winning seasons under these managers?

Besides we all know Jose's third season was not only about footy, much more involved whatever they may be. And Conte....well it explains itself. Where as with Sarri it was pure blindness, pure stubbornness.....doing the same shit time after time expecting a miracle somehow, in the hardest League.

Conte ripped up a league where he had no Europe to contend with. And who exactly copied our way? Pochettino was playing 3 at the back well before Conte's arrival, along with other clubs like Watford and Hull. Hell, even Van Gaal was playing 3 at the back with United. 

2014-2017 was one of the weakest times for English football, and it's reflected with the poor showing in the Champions league at the time.

Everyone copied us......you think the influx of managers and teams suddenly doing what we did came out of the blue? And its not the system....its how you utilize the system that got people's attention.Before that no one used 343 all game every game with great results.....we fucked the League hands down despite having poorer squad than pep, and pep's first season was also Conte's first season.
