Well it wouldn't make sense to sack Conte unless he loses the dressing room. That was basically the sole reason to sack Mourinho.

Because it's clear that the board and club don't have the ambition of winning anything.

And if they do they are delusional and no manager will be able to deliver with such ways of them running thing.

It's sad. I think lack of transfers is one of the reasons Conte left Juventus as I think he felt they weren't doing enough to compete for the Champions League. We used to have a reputation for doing our business quickly but these past few windows have been abysmal. Kante really fell into our laps and is no achievement from the board.

The club is always really slow to get rid of the deadwood (i.e. Matic).

All our hopes basically rest on Hazard having a season for the ages. Because our squad is clearly inferior to United and City's. We have a  risk of slipping down into Tottenham/Arsenal level which is poor considering the resources we've spent.

Conte: "We are working on a new philosophy. The players are the same as last season but I also know they won the league two years ago."

Conte: "We're working on a new idea of football, playing attractive football. We're working hard to get #Chelsea back into a good position."

Conte: “All clubs wants to improve because they want to fight for the title. #Chelsea is waiting for the right solution, it’s not easy."

Q: Are the prices too high for #Chelsea? - Conte: "No! The transfer market is crazy, when you try to buy a player the valuation is strange."

Q: How many players do you need? - Conte: "The transfer policy I will discuss with the club, please excuse me."

Q: Can #Chelsea play with three at the back? - Conte: "It’s important for the manager to find the right fit for the team."

Antonio Conte talks about different formations he used in his career and says he is never afraid to adapt to a new situation.

Conte: "In the future it can happen that I can change. But I’m trying very quickly to find the right fit."

Conte seems to be enjoying his #Chelsea press conferences. So much laughing going on.

Conte: "I speak a lot with my players. It’s important to get to know them, to understand and to listen to why last season was so bad."

Conte: "The match [against West Ham] will be very tough. It’s a good team and also it’s a derby. We know these games are very tough."

Conte: "We want to give our fans the satisfaction and we will try to do our best to win the game on Monday. But we know it’ll be difficult."

Conte: "It’s the first time for me for everything. To start with a derby's tough but I’m very excited. My players must have the right will."
