Barbara 15,149
Really? I thought we looked more threatening the instant Drogba came on.because of Cesc imo. DD disrupted a few of our attack again imo.
The Chels 2,502
I don't think Cahill for Willian was particularly necessary either. Did he play in midfield when he came on? I'm not sure but it is surely better to keep Willian on the pitch to press high and keep the ball in the opposition half than it is to add another defender to the mix and encourage the opposition onto you. It didn't matter in the end but I do always dread the effects of that kind of substitution.

Fernando 6,591
One clever fella made a point in the Zouma thread about him having started only in home games. If Zouma starts the next home game and Cahill next away game, then I say he pretty much nailed it. When Zouma starts starting away games too and performing in them, then I say there is a real chance of him permanently displacing GC. The fact that Zouma performed in two consecutive BIG home games hints towards Mourinho taking steps in bedding him in, but maybe he feels he's not quite yet ready to do it away in front of hostile crowd. I have a feeling Zouma is Mou's next Varane, based on the way he talks about him and how he already trusted him.Guess you was right. This is good stuff if this trend continues. Because zouma is the future and we should not be wasting our time with Cahill no more. Muzchap

You seriously can't criticize him for that...... surely, no?You know that how? Mourinho is not adverse to defender-attacker substitutions when we take the lead and I was just pointing out that I think they can do more harm than good. You're right that it didn't make any difference in this particular game so I won't moan about it anymore

Always and foreverMost of them i already knew, but i'm surprised we have the most clean sheets. It must be mostly due to our home form, because we barely ever keep a CS away from home. MrExcalibur100 7,124
If I was in his shoes, I swear to god, I won't be able to keep my composure with that Ivanovic question after all the shit they've given us this season. This is what I hate most about English football. It's even worse than Spain. That and the obvious bias from people like Owen when they're doing the commentary for their favourite clubs. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vuk_SXhl0_UJust to add something, Mourinho said, "One more question about Ivanovic and I'll leave", but BT Sport were to ashamed to put that in the original video and edited it out. It's remains to be confirmed if Mourinho walked out or not. Now, notice how BT Sport are goading Martinez to speak on the Ivanovic incident. He's of course all too happy to oblige them.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Scx-rsnZ28This is the Ivanovic headbutt, by the way. https://vine.co/v/OPuluv2e3x9Barely a headbutt, no different from stuff we see in other games when its late in a game and a decision goes the other way. It looks like Ivanovic is trying to restrain the Everton player from someone. Viper22, darrus, zolayes and 1 other

Popular Post! MrExcalibur100 7,124 Posted February 11, 2015 Popular Post! Share Posted February 11, 2015 ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^To continue my post, BT Sport literally talked about this for at least 30 mins after the game. We see Sky doing the same thing to us. van Persie's elbow wasn't spoken on by Sky. Everyone has forgotten about it already. Has anyone noticed the absolutely insane double standard this season especially? I know they normally don't like us, but what's happening this season is very pronounced and very odd. And don't get me started on penalties. We apparently are not allowed to win penalties any longer. Last season was bad, but this season is even worse. I hope I'm just reading too much into it, and there's no underlying campaign against us. When Mourinho came out and used that word, he was roundly mocked by the press, but there was a lot of truth there. I just hope we aren't paying for some of Jose's post match comments last season. Or maybe it's something else.http://www.oneworldsports.com/stories/jose-mourinhos-silence-speaks-out-efaThat's Duncan Castles' article on how the FA are trying to milk their cash cow even more by keeping "competitive". iseah100, stroey, Barbara and 6 others

GodZola 630
Flabbergasted that he took Remy off, not just because he was playing so well but with us struggling to break them down & needing a goal from somewhere you need your firepower on the pitch, when he introduced Drogba, their back 9/10 defenders started looking uncomfortable, 2 up top makes more sense to me when we need to score especially with the clock ticking down.Loved the way José hugged all the players at the though, his man management skills are second to none, part of the reason it sets great managers apart from good ones. Rapkun 668
He made the Fabregas change as expected, but surprisingly he dropped Remy to introduce Drogba and not Ramires. Every other time we were chasing a late win we reverted into 442 with 2 strikers and played more crosses into the box. Today however he only made changes for the same positions and took less risks. It's funny because it's probably the only time we score a late winner this season.
hamad138 190
He should stop speaking about the refree every game how he was and stop anwsering stupid question on headbuts because the FA is already losing their mindsI think FA will ban him maybe for the rest of the season if he continues that way

It's already happened this season. Remy even got dropped after scoring and playing well vs Man City. Strikers need continuity and confidence to score goals. Remy is not getting that here. Tells you everything you need to know, sadly.
