and u think klopp would have lasted here. dont forget BVB went trophyless too inspite of being outstanding in UCL, they were quite ordinary in the league. and you would spend 10-15 mil to buy out klopp rather than have MOU???? well i am done arguing... if u r willing to discredit everything this man brings to the club for just one thing "his ego" then there is no point to continue this.

But it what makes his job at BVB more remarkable. He does not get even a 1/4 of the spending power Jose will have at Chelsea and every season he has to sell at least 1 of his star player. Yet he still makes them competitive and gets them to a Champions league final. Imagine what he could do with much bigger spending power? Jose has to rely on a short term plan of big spending then hope motivation is what gets the glory. Once that runs out he leaves the club and sometimes the club goes down the pits (just look at Inter Milan, or heck even for a couple of seasons after he leaves).

Then don't you think that this shows why it could possible go wrong for with this appointment? To me it looks like a marriage of convenience, as it seems Jose was not the first choice with Roman, and i t seems Jose is choosing us because most clubs don't want to touch him after his embarrassing behavior at Madrid. It seems that he won't get total control of all football matters like he wants and that the old fissures that came last time he was with us with us will reappear and it will lend ugly like last time? I mean for gods sakes there are already reports that Emenalo wanted to leave (and he is close to Roman). I can't help but see that conflict will arise sometime in the future.

Loads of clubs wanted him. I am sure any other club in the prem would have him with open arms. Jose was probably first choice and rightly so. Klopp was probably never in the picture because it wasn't ever gonna happen in the first place.

I don't see why there is even slight concern. There is no one better we could have for the job, and we got our man. He is great tactically. The players will love him, the fans will love him. Great for all parties.

But what about the top clubs, I think with the exception of PSG, no other club wanted to inquire about him even though it was clear that he was wanting to leave, especially after some of his embarrassing behavior

And again, I'm going to happen when he will eventually leaves, because he has a habit of leaving a club in complete a mess with a dressing room often unmanageable due to the huge egos he creates. Us and Inter Milan especially are prime examples. I really don't want that even if he gives us a couple of trophies in his probably short second reign here.

"I met the boss, I met the owner, and I think in five minutes after a couple of very short but pragmatic questions we decided I think straight away."

"I asked the boss if he wanted me back, and he asked me if I wanted to come back, and I think in a couple of minutes, decision made."

It was quite obvious he only wished to come to us. Therefore no one else was interested. But carry on trolling.
