Phil Driver 503
Actually I will also add their is one other major problem that does not help Luiz and that is our sitter tends to get in his way and complicates thing for him by sitting in his space and your are right he is a wonderful ball playing centre half not defender at the moment. Tomo 21,751
But he realised Luiz was a liability very quickly and now we look solid .Shame Liam Ridgewell and Mo Salah never got the memo. GhanaBoy
xPetrCechx 13,573
:D :D :DSorry it's specially funny when coming from you....I really can't see how people want Chelsea to compete against the other top clubs with players like Cahill. That's something I will never understand.BTW, to be be clear here: we've been conceding A LOT of goals without Luiz btw. With Luiz too. Phil Driver 503
A shame Liam Ridgewell and Mo Salah never got the memo.I am sure Jose is picking the team on merit and with all play scrutinised fully before a decision is made on who plays. robsblubot 3,595
Wel that will be Jose and me in one corner ,the best defensive coach in the world and others in another ,i rest my case . David has a bit to learn about defending maybe he is a warm weather defender ,by the way I still believe he can be one of the best in the world when he focuses properly and stops acting the clown ,he can start by watching John Terry in training FIFPRO world team of the year player five times .Really no argument concerning John Terry, just don't think Cahill is nearly at the same level.A player is good enough or he isn't in my mind. Other traits may be nice to have, but if talent isn't there, he doesn't belong in the starting XI up of a top club.I wonder how effective this style is these days, since the other top sides play very differently - including the ones sitting above us on the standings. robsblubot 3,595
With Luiz too.Absolutely!Luiz had little to do with it the same way Cahill also is not alone Chelsea defense. However, Luiz brings technique, talent to the side. He immediately improves on ball possession and long balls too – we’ve discussed that before. Phil Driver 503
By the way Mo Salah was all down to Ivan sleeping I am sure Jose mentioned that .so one slip against West Brom against David at the moment is why he is being picked ON MERIT. Please do not try to second guess Jose on how to organise a defence. When Luiz learns and hits form with the right DM in front of him he will be at Chelsea for a long time ,I have faith in him that he will be a great player for us one day with Cahill ,it could be a great future pairing for us ,Cahill gets far too much abuse on here. They will never be a great partnership, something that Mourinho has seemed to work out pretty early, as it hasn't been used since Basle (outside the COC). Sidzeret 2,257
I think it is more that he has worked out that JT is still our best defender to be honest with Cahill at the moment .Still a pretty perforated back line. JT with Luiz is gonna be back when he recovers from our injury. Cahill had his share of mistakes this season. I still feel JT-Luiz is world class. robsblubot

Popular Post! Spike 12,049 Posted December 4, 2013 Popular Post! Share Posted December 4, 2013 Hosay Mooreenyo isn't perfect but no manager is. He is human and prone to errors of judgement just like myself and all of you. Against Soton the other night, Hosay would have never guessed nor the thought would have crossed his mind that Essien would give away a goal withing 14 seconds. I feel very comfortable with Hosay at the helm than I would with someone like Carlo Ancellotti or Roberto Di Matteo. Nothing against those two, they are fine managers but from my point of view they are motivators and chummy friends with the players. They lack the tactical cutting edge some managers (Hosay included) have. I trust Hosay, we as Chelsea fans will probably never witness such an amazing manager at the helm of this club again.Once Hosay has a grasp of who is needed and who is surplus we will sadly have to deal with it better or worse. Hosay just like all of us can't predict the future. He may make godlike decisions or he may let go a player that goes on to win the Ballon D'or. But for now all we can do is put faith in him and hope for the best. Strike, Ainsley Harriott, Tomo and 5 others

The_Flash 1,144
It is a shame because lukaku is proving to be great but him talking out of turn against Jose he won't play for Chelsea again.
