didierforever 7,349
The point is that we shouldn't have to wait til halftime to start playing well. We've started slowly and needed a tactical change in almost every fucking game this season, it's ridiculous.playing well is on players. it is not jose's fault that our players probably react better to the hair-dryer treatment than to the normal motivation speech that i expect jose would be giving at the start of the match. -jose dint put in a poor line up against cardiff but he did do a good job in changing the match with his subs.-same goes for norwich. we conceded in the 60-odd minutes. went 3 at the back, changed the the tactics and won it.-newcastle was not a bad line-up but an overall poor performance on the team's part. (dont tell me u dint want mata to play that match after his performance at the emirates.)-the only PL game i can actually think where he did make a mistake was tottenham and yesterday. and in both those games he rectified his mistake.jose is doing his job my affecting the result of the game and that too in a good way (almost always), now it is upto our players to put in a good performance. kellzfresh and Barbara

Jase 43,479
It's just like what Rmpr said recently. People can never seem to find a middle ground on Mourinho. There will be the bunch that completely overstates what he does and the other bunch goes totally over critical, just like what is happening above. Jase 43,479
Ramires key to Jose Mourinho's plans at ChelseaNice article, have a read.No shit sherlock! We probably need to find another player like Ramires, if possible considering how his attributes and strengths are so important to us. Every time, I freak out if he happens to be on the ground in pain or looking as if he suffers from an injury. Nobody in the team right now will be able to replace him. Shame Essien has gone totally off the boil with all those injuries. Ryan Fong

Shame Essien has gone totally off the boil with all those injuries.Just about to say the exact same words, "No shit sherlock!"In terms of importance, Ramires is right up there at the top, being the most undroppable player in our team at the moment. He is just a head to toe Mourinho's type of player and like you said NOBODY can replace him.

Phil Driver 503
Mourinho is pictured as a supernatural manager. He is far from that. I said in another topic that in 10 of our 13 games the team had a poor 1st half and had to fix it in the 2nd.You can look at that picture in 2 different ways: -Mourinho is a amazing manager and changes the game.-Mourinho only fixes the mess he creates when he selects the team and chooses his tactics. I would take the 2nd option. Its clear Mourinho is not on Earth. It took him more than 15 games to realize that Lampard is a shit as a DM, and the same amount of games to realize that the 4-2-3-1 he had in mind is as shit as well. Then he came up with Essien as a starring XI, after 100 years without playing regular football.Wake up Jose. But he realised Luiz was a liability very quickly and now we look solid . Do not take it out on Jose because your fan boy fav is out of the picture, this is all about what is best for Chelsea F.C London not what is best for Brazil . I mean if you make the single-elimination stage of course. GhanaBoy and Henrique

That's something I will never understand.BTW, to be be clear here: we've been conceding A LOT of goals without Luiz btw. Phil Driver 503
Wel that will be Jose and me in one corner ,the best defensive coach in the world and others in another ,i rest my case . David has a bit to learn about defending maybe he is a warm weather defender ,by the way I still believe he can be one of the best in the world when he focuses properly and stops acting the clown ,he can start by watching John Terry in training FIFPRO world team of the year player five times . Phil Driver 503
Actually I will also add their is one other major problem that does not help Luiz and that is our sitter tends to get in his way and complicates thing for him by sitting in his space and your are right he is a wonderful ball playing centre half not defender at the moment. Phil Driver 503
A shame Liam Ridgewell and Mo Salah never got the memo.I am sure Jose is picking the team on merit and with all play scrutinised fully before a decision is made on who plays. Other traits may be nice to have, but if talent isn't there, he doesn't belong in the starting XI up of a top club.I wonder how effective this style is these days, since the other top sides play very differently - including the ones sitting above us on the standings.
