The Chels 2,502
Sure the board were not able to get us our main targets, Stones and Pogba, but why was there no proper contingency plan? If it's Mourinho who said 'I want those players or nobody' then he can't complain. nadavTKL
MichaelDance 552
We've got over £100M we was going to spend on two players plus all the money from the 33 loans we should be able to give Juve enough money to make them go take him. God sake we've not improved at all minus one for Cahill / Ivanovic. We got two players and we loaned them back for god sake that's not the point of the window. Roquila 1,335
And now we fucking sign a CB from reading to loan him back to reading and probably never see again. Good fucking job. bluephoenix, MichaelDance and Tautvix

Duppy Conqueror 1,543
in the long run the disaster of this window may turn out to be a longterm blessing.it would take a lot of typing and I`m off out in a minute so hope folks can see why that could be the case.but basically it could make us rethink our transfer policy and make us use the young talent instead of shipping them out to be replaced by "end products" because teams aren`t letting us poach their best talent as easy as it was before. MichaelDance 552
Yes! Our Profits weren't touched!!Raises all around! Don't worry we'll loose it all when we don't make the top 7 because our team just doesn't have the passion to win anymore… (based on the last 4 games) only Pedro wanted to win. BlueLyon 9,359
What are you talking about, it wasnt that bad.We got great Gk in begovic, Pedro who might finaly fix our rw problems, young Kenedy who looks promising and Djibodji or whatever his name is who cost almost nothing and just might be good. Baba, well he is a big gamble but maybe it will work out.Hector thing was a complete miss but he wont be a part of squad and never was intended so I couldnt care less. 30 players loaned out or 31, makes no difference. What Im realy dissapointed with is that we havent signed a midfielder. We had 4 games that have shown how poor we are in that area. We had couple of weeks to fix that yet we didnt bring anyone. I know Pogba was impossible, but there are other players that we simply should target because our midfield is that poor. Yet we didnt. Thats only real fault I see in this window. But then again, that just might mean more time for RLC. Look at the bright side. We should do some things differently, but it is what it is. We will have to do it with what we have. Thendo

Fernando 6,585
I feel bad for Jose because board shit all over him this summer.I was thinking about this. But like I said somewhere else it might be Jose fault for his lack of rotation and use of youth. This is the season in which he should be implementing youth. And this is the board letting Mourinho know that he must gamble on them this season. As long as we finish in top 4 it would be good. But of course he won't and will just stick with people like Ivanovic that under perform for many games. While he can't have that same patient for some of the younger players.... MichaelDance and lionsden
Stingray 9,441
We look like a share holder multinational treating his core employees like profit fodder. Fuck that is indeed a bit plastic (from the board)
Special Juan 28,141
I'd love to know their thoughts on what has just gone on, or what hasn't more like it.Disgraceful window and deciding to tie deals up last minute stinks of lack of ideas and thought with a complete and utter scatter gun approach. Laylabelle 9,536
If we're gana throw the league away this season might as well get some youth develop out of it.probably not Fernando and MichaelDance
Pizy 18,944
Can only imagine that the lack of planning in the window was because everyone at the club figured we'd just start the season like we did last year. They probably thought that even with essentially the exact same squad a summer off would bring them back to their best level and we'd burst out of the gate like Man City have so far.The shocking start made us panic and realize "oh, shit, we're not nearly as good as we thought we were," hence the scrambling in the last couple of days to get players. It's not all on the board, though. The players obviously take a huge amount of blame too. No way José could've imagined that Ivanovic's form would fall off a cliff and Terry would struggle like he has. The signs were there in preseason, though, and we should have been going after Stones weeks and weeks ago. MichaelDance
