Pizy 18,994
Still have a sneaking suspicion that something will happen with Stones at the deadline. Either us or United.
Azpinator 2,325
Why do people keep saying this? He's one of their best players...If someone is some team's best player in a season where they finished 12th, there's a big chance he's not that good. Azpinator 2,325
So Austin is not a good striker then?I don't know, haven't seen much of him. I can't fully judge a player but I can expect something from what I actually see. From what I've seen from Lukaku, I wouldn't want him in my team, sadly. From what I've seen from Lukaku, I wouldn't want him in my team, sadly.Yeah but my point is you can't use that hypothesis that playing for a team who finished 12th makes you a bad player. Mabe the other players round him were not that good. Austin is a very good striker who was one of the leading scorers in the PL and they finished last. Yet he is better than a lot of strikers in the PL, who even finished higher with their respective teams.

Watching Lukaku during that tournament was torturous.

The season before he scored bucket loads of goals and he nearly guided them to a 4th placed spot. They finished 5th. He will score goals galore this season imo. Everton would be worse without him over the whole season.
Muzchap 8,966
John Stones will leave in 2 seasons for less than £20 millionThere - that's my prediction Maybe as low as £15 million Everton have fucked him - and he will degrade significantly this season, have a so-so season next year and an average one the year after - then after being near the end of his contract he will be sold to Arsenal or Spurs for around £15 million. OneMoSalah 8,888
Apparently we are giving up on him and have also tried to negotiate with PSG for Marquinhos. Why did we go for John Stones first considering Marquinhos is a better defender??? I don't understand why we are doing things like this sometimes... probably won't get a CB or a CM now. For us it’s closed in that respect and his performance showed that. Martinez is an absolute cunt! Fucking twat!!
Unionjack 7,531
transfer window should shut prior to season starting.clubs wouldn`t be able to drag their feet for so long then when open to selling a player.and if somebody gets injured early only teams with big squad depth could cope without being able to raid other clubs. so teams like Everton would suffer. Everton only signed 3 players prior to the season starting..they have signed more since.I agree in a perfect world we would close it pre season bt then when do we start it? We Hate Scouse 10,332
He didn't mean to do it. He slipped on to his keyboard and it miraculously wrote out a transfer request which sent to Bill Kenwright. Silly Stones.
