Willian played another outstanding game last night and people here are talking about de Bruyne's performances for Belgium. Who cares?

We still have a chance to reach top4 if Willian keeps this form until the end of the season. He has been that good.

This guy is on fire.  Outperforming Hazard with ease lately. He is also MUCH more direct now, which is great to see.

This season is so much like 15/16 only difference is we're 5th and not 10th.

But as in 15/16 Willian is our best player the only one who comes out and constantly performs, someone has said that the players must love out there, I think he must be gutted apart from Kante there's no one else in our lineup that tries like them.

He's MUCH better right now than what he was in 15/16. During that season he was playing his normal level but that just looked amazing because of how bad the others got (and his free kick purple patch), last couple of months he's stepped up beyond anything we have seen from him before.

Yep.

 

That season he was a hard worker who was getting goals from set pieces.

 

Now he is looking to create from open play. This is by far he has ever been for us.

If he was 26/27 i would say he's finally upped his game and is coming of age but at nearly 30 i can't shake away the feeling he's just on a fluke purple patch. I hope im wrong and if i am he's taken the phrase late bloomer to whole new dimensions.
