RT: Kevin Friend with Benefits at Stamford Bridge.

#KevinFriend is trending on twitter....Fucking faggots now blames the ref.

TBF if we were in Aston villas shoes right now. This thread would be full with complaints about the ref so it's understandable.

well, they are right to do so. was a clear penalty against terry.

hopefully mou can fix our attack. we are just so slow and not mobile. we need way more movement and tempo. and mata seems to be a failure as a RW.

Think the main problem with our play today is that we were just so narrow. There was nobody providing the width and we ended up congesting the midfield with nowhere to go and hardly even created anything. Mata, playing on the RW, was always going to come inside anyway and he wasn't fully fit either. On the other hand, Hazard is one that frustrates me though. He can go on the outside of opposition's defence, stretching the play and provide us width but hate the fact that he always come inside! And our FBs didn't exactly get forward a lot to provide the width though it was probably done on purpose to prevent us getting caught on the counter. But it was just frustrating overall!

Azpi will start next game, that much is certain. And Luiz should return to teach RVP a lesson or two.

Not sure about starting 2 players who are not fully fit yet for a game against United at Old Trafford...

If anything, the back 4 will likely remain the same. Just changes being made in the midfield and striker.

Mourinho said he was thinking of playing Azpi, but went with Ivanovic to deal with Benteke. Azpi is fit enough to be on the bench, he will play. Luiz is a gamble though, Cahill will most likely start.

Seems like the team was under Di Matteo with the same line-up.

Even physically, we are alike in the fact we can only play high tempo for a short period.

Wow can't believe the knee-jerk reactions on here...

Sunday we were amazing, awesome, etc - Lampard was amazing... Blah blah

Tonight - Lampard is shit, we need more players, blah blah...

Fucks sake - teams have BAD GAMES - FACT!!!

Buying DOES NOT GUARANTEE SUCCESS...

Just chill the fuck out everybody !!!

I have been saying for some time - Villa have the makings of a top 6 side, they got shit unlucky last year, but have a young, hungry team that works it's bollox off for 100% of the match. Lambert is a VERY GOOD manager and I can see him going far!

Villa will be the 'surprise' package this season and I see them grabbing a UEFA league place - even though it might kill them the next season in the league...

We won - be happy and take each game as it comes - this BI-POLAR BEHAVIOUR is not helping anyone!

That was against Villa. Just not sure if Mourinho will think the same about starting Azpi in a really big game against United at OT. Might be a struggle for him just like we have seen with Mata tonight.

TBF, would like to give that a bit more time before passing judgment. Players still adapting to Mourinho and don't forget they have also played a lot during the summer with pre-season matches in two different continent and 3 matches in a week. Tough ask a bit at the start of the season.

As for being the same team under RDM, would say at least we are better now than back then. The playing style maybe similar but least we have now under Jose is the proper organization as a team, both defensively and offensively. It wasn't like that under RDM when the players just unleashed to do whatever they want out there. Allowed to attack around freely but defensively, we were shambolic and had no defensive organization and commitment whatsoever.

Mourinho is obviously better but the pilosophy until now looks alike, even in the line-up.

The fullback under Benitez were like extra midfielders in the build-up of play, under Mourinho until now, they do not play like that.

We got so lucky with the ref tonight, didn't deserve the win.

But, I'm glad we won at the end of the match.

What's the meaning of DLP guys?? Will appreciate it if someone helps me with that. Thanks

A Deep Lying Playmaker :)

Cheers!
