Leif 6,006
Really don't want him going to a league full of racist fans. Would be very saddening. Stingray and Despiadado.Maleante
zolayes 14,489
Okay, at first these loans seemed ok but now its getting weird. Why the fuck would we loan out a 27-year old player ?We're buying players for other teams. and probably paying part of their wages

OneMoSalah 8,886
When we were trying to sign Ba "what a great signing he will be", when we actually signed Ba "hes not good enough" haha how times change. laura90, francozola, The Mak and 1 other
Heisenberg 1,824
If you want to be just, you dump Torres and let Demba Ba, because as a player Ba is way better than 8 PL goals Torres. But life isnt fair.

Vybz Kartel 1,613
If we sell him to Russia hope we make a profit of selling him maybe we should sell him for 10 mill then invest that as part of a new striker

Ollie 4,400
I actually think Ba was always going to leave. We need to push the boat out and at least get one MASSIVE striker. With Torres, Ba and Lukaku we don't have that lethal striker at the peak of their prime. Lukaku is still young with no experience at a top team. Ba is a good striker but not what you'd call a superstar elite striker and Torres is not what he once was. We need a top class superstar striker at the peak of their prime. The only man that suits that now is Cavani. I think we'll go all out for him now. There aren't many more options unless we go for Zlatan. CHOULO19 24,332
He just signed 6 months ago and still has 3 years on his contract. Why would he leave now?
Ollie 4,400
Not his choice. He's obviously not in Jose's plans. Things change with new managers. Can play with Eto'o (if he's still these).
robsblubot 3,595
He just signed 6 months ago and still has 3 years on his contract. Why would he leave now? because he won't be playing much, especially if we sign a better striker, which is very likely. Even if we don't though, Lukaku needs matches and has the potential to be a hell lot better than Ba.He may well choose confort and not move, but I doubt he will be happy not playing. He just isn't good enough for Chelsea and I thought buying him was a mistake back then. Could have gotten a younger player, perhaps even on loan. They both like to play on the counter and run at defenders. Ba on the other hand is our only target man and our best striker at hold up play. He gives Jose a different tactical option. I think he will get playing time, especially against weaker teams that park the bus. Bir_CFC
Bir_CFC 3,455
Anzhi have denied any interest. Or, it could be just us saying fuck off now since Cavani isn't happening. Either way, looks like he's staying. Nothing wrong with it as he's a cheap backup anyways.

Yes, he can play target man, but that's a striker for smaller sides. Andy Carroll can do that too.I just don't see us winning anything by starting a player like Demba Ba in many matches. Ba is by no means world-class, but mediocre is extremely harsh. He is a prolific goal scorer. We won a lot of games with him starting last season include knocking the eventual champions out of the FA cup. Mufassir08
