I can't see how this can backfire, even if the only evidence is he said she said between the players and clattenburg, the verdict would likely just be not enough evidence to convict. After all the fuss about black players not being willing to come forward with allegations because they won't be believed I can't see the FA accusing the players of lying, especially when it is one of their own they are defending. If it sets a precedent that in cases where the only evidence is the testimony of the accuser that charges won't be brought then that can only be a good thing, charging people with racism on the basis of "we believe this guy more" as they did with suarez is ridiculous.

Isolated? Have no support? WTF!

This is ridiculous..

Oh well, hope the refs don't give poor decisions against us otherwise everyone will know it's only because of the situation with the refs that we get poor decisions against us,I hope that made sense lol

I have a question for those refs: What if he is guilty? Everyone is ridiculously casting our claims aside and vilifying us, but if we turn out to be right we would be doing the game a huge favor by getting rid of a racist.

Don't you know it's wrong for us to file complains against others but it is alright for them to file complains against us...?

They're fucked, then. Their premature decision to give Clattenburg so much support when everything is speculative will send out messages like "We don't care if Clattenburg is racist." Now, that part isn't so bad. It will just be embarrassing. The bad part I think is, if they actually do boycott against us, I can see them getting into huge trouble because by boycotting, they will be blatantly expressing bias against the club.

WTF?!??! This is EXACTLY the biased feelings about Chelsea we've been talking about?! How can they even consider boycutting us, when NOTHING has been proved? Clattenburg could allegedly have used racial slur towards Mikel, but yet the media and referees portray US as the bad guys. If this was to happen it would prove that the system is downright corrupt. The club cannot deal with such matters internally, and if they feel that there is sufficient evidence to probe the incident it should. Why do these bloody wankers have to interfere and create more havoc?

I know this will probably mean more biased referees against us when playing. It has to, sadly. So pissed off right now.

If they boycott chelsea then it is not our problem.FA has to arrange referees from outside england then :Dblank.gif

Happened in Scottish PL if i am not wrong, referees decided not to officiate in SPL matches and referees from Poland,Israel,Malta were bought.

But overall our club would be pushed into very negative side of the football world. Th PR of the club will be severly hit.

They should be charged for bringing the game into Disrepute.

Imagine if we had come out and said we will boycott matches?

I love the hypocrisy of this situation.

JT accused of being racist, because he's white = nailed on racist.

Mikel makes allegation of racism, but suddenly he's a liar because he's black?

Absolute madness.

I'm glad we are taking this stance if it means recorded Ref mics and more focus on the officials getting things right.

Also like ANY other person in employment, Refs should have to answer for their mistakes.

They want Respect? You have to earn respect, by talking through your decisions it will help aggrieved parties understand the issue - whilst not resolving it, but at least reducing the animosity...

Refs are the last people who should say something now. I mean boycott, what the fuck ?! After dozens of great matches ruined by the officials, after billions of scandals and wrong decisions regarding the FA... I'm behind the club 100%, about time someone stops this 'bunch of twats'.

How childish can adult men behave? Those are "referees" whose job it is to make right judgements. How can they now dare to prejudge a case before it is resolved. They are no team playing against us (even so it feels like that more often than not) but professional individuals. How can they feel attacked after we accused Clattenburg? It is our right to do so in case he has abused our players and they are forestelling the verdict. How dumb u can be, they are directly undermining the FA's authority? As if it would be our problem if they opt against doing their fuckin job and rather indulge in self-pity derived from their lack of reasoning. They pretend it is our fault that their colleague could not shut up.
