What has torres done during his 4596 minutes of playing time for Chelsea to be our number 9?

This is a new season and as I've said so far this season he has 2 goals in the league and could have had more. Until Danny gets a chance to play and can show he can step up to the role of CF then Torres is number 1.

Sturridge starting against Juve would be detrimental to Nando's "confidence", but to hell with all that BS. He's had his chances.

RDM needs to put him in in the striker role and let Danny's game do the talking. I'd be disappointed if he's only getting 15-20 minutes a game and I wouldn't blame Sturridge a bit if he wants to leave.

He's too talented to be sitting on the bench and in my opinion he plays with more hunger than Torres.

Sturridge has the potential to become a very good striker but he only will do so here when he gets time. Torres might be like needy girlfriend always demanding attention from everyone but when he is not in form and his confidence is already so low we can just as well replace him and at least cut short the clubs losses. Torres had his chances time and time again. Face it he will never become his old self again. He might become a decent striker again but there's no way we should end the season with him.

Sturridge has the potential to become a very good striker but he only will do so here when he gets time and I don't give a fuck about a striker whose best days are long gone and will never return adn who can only "perform" when his labile mental constitution allows him. We have a young, hungry striker who is raring to go and will only learn and improve when he place. i won't risk the stay and the development of a striker for the future for the possible confidence-depending comeback of a striker of the past.

Danny does not need any service to score goals and now that we have Hazard Mata and Oscar,god only knows how many he will score when given a chance.

Sturridge needs a shot in his NATURAL position, he is hungry to show.....and hungry to win his place.....Just hope he doesnt go the route of Yuri Z...Wasted talent and difference maker sitting it out until deciding to leave.

Goal.com can stir a little and make stories up but if true I can understand Sturridge attitude. He deserves to start much more upfront but has not been given the chance to so far. All subsitute appearances and he should be given the chance to play more upfront which is his favoured position

Tbh if iam in Danny's shoes I wouldn't be too happy aswell, probably I would be furious.To warm the bench for an all time great like Drogba is one thing, but for Torres..., this Torres?Crap.
