When we blew it in the semi against Monaco and when even Morrientes admitted that what ultimately proved the winning goal should not have stood. It's arguable of course that Jose's Porto would have beaten us in the final anyway, but it's impossible to escape the feeling that we missed a big opportunity that year.

Exactly. The tactics put up by the coach can protect the defense, Pressing traps/high pressing, Tactical fouls. Chelsea have to do far better at this if we want to sustain attacking football, it cant work without pressing and Tactical fouls. The Bayern destruction of Barcelona proved that Attack mostly wins over defense. Once we get finishers and good decision makers upfront, then we can focus on proper wingbacks like Alphonso Davies to provide Speed on the flanks in attack. Not the slow combo of Alonso and Azpi we currently have. 

Once your attack is dangerous, no one will attack your defense carelessly out of fear of being hit at the back.

Opps @Rapkun is revealing nagelsman secret. I hate team who do tactical fouling too often and Leipzig defense depend heavily on tactical fouling. If you get "bad" referee, it is golden but if you get good referee, you are pretty much red card waiting to happen.

Maybe we didnt do that badly vs BM, this was a lesson they gave Barca, though this Barca is proper fucked and a manager that is not good enough at this level. They are in deep shit with a squad deeply out of balance.

I hope BM wrecks these City cheaters, a lesson they wont soon forget. Fuck psg and city.
