He still bleeds royal blue regardless of what happened yesterday, I mean you can't forget the 13 years at Chelsea, you can't forget the trophies you can't forget the 211 goals which make him top-goalscorer at this club.All these things aren't equivalent to the two points he cost us yesterday. He did join City, which made no single Chelsea fan happy, but in the end it's only a warm-up for his last chapter of his career in New York. After that he will look to get a manager license to get to his club which made him the player he is/was and vice-versa. And sorry but the part with 'refusing to play against us in sitting down on the pitch' is just ridiculous. No player would do that, no matter how much he loves the club.

You build a house, put in the effort of building it with your bare hands and sweat and work months on it. As soon as it's finished you take out our lighter, set it on fire and in no more than an hour everthing's gone. Is it really about the little flame that destroyed everything then? Hell no.

So no, it's not about the 2 points he cost us. I never even mentioned that to begin with.

Signing that contract is the thought of burning everything down that it's about. When he signed that contract he knew what possibilities that clause could make happen. Frank fucking Lampard, one of the most intelligent footballers in today's game, knew EVERYTHING that could happen when he went through that contract with his agent. He knew it. And yet he dared to say yesterday that he "didn't expect to come on and score".

He's lying to millions of Chelsea fans out there with no hesitation. That's my problem. Two times he broke his promise and now that he knows what he has caused he's trying to lie his way out it. After everything that he has done for this club he shows his true colors and they ain't mighty blue ones. I do hope he regrets what he's done but going by Jamie Rednapp's comments I very much doubt it.

2. As for me, it's not hate. Disappointment - yes, big time. And not because of this goal. But because of two things - first, going to our direct title rival after sayin he's not gonna play against us. Second, more important for me - all this "poor me" routine from yesterday that so many people are prasing him for. It was disrespectful towards us AND disrespectful towards the club he's playing for right now. All those "this club" and "I don't know what was the win for me" in the post-match interview is something I'm not ready to disregard and forget. I thought better of him as a person and as a professional. So, as for me - my own disappointment will last long. Forever? Maybe. May very well be.

He's a legend to my club, but now I'm sitting here crying and trying to hide ot from my family. And not because Lampard joined out tile rival and scored against us, but because attempting to look good in everyone's eyes and "pity me" reaction when something unpleasant happens is what I despise most in people, and after all those years I expected better from Frank.

It's my personal feelings, my personal problems, and maybe I'm alone in my sentiments - but please don't go telling me how I, or any other Chelsea fan for that matter, should feel.

And since we're on "proper fans" subject - I never was at Stamford Bridge. But I was sitting at Luzhniki stadium in 2008 watching Terry miss that penalty and singing with everyone even after everything ended, guess that counts a bit too.

I don't have any problem with all of that. Just curious until how long, cause I believe we will cross our path again with Lampard someday, and want to know how you guys feel when that time comes.

Drogba was clearly sub-par in both those games (on purpose) and he never looked like scoring because he didn't want to score against us. That's one of the many reasons I think that Drogba > Terry, Osgood etc

I don't see how further down the line, in 40 or so years, how people could still hold a grudge against Lamps for scoring against us once after 13 years of being an incredible player for us. Will you really let one goal tarnish everything? Even if, and it is highly unlikely, it costs us the title this season, will you remember this goal over his 2 at Bolton, penalty against Liverpool, impossible goal vs Barca, captaining us in the 2012 Champions League final, scoring in the 2008 final, becoming our all time top goalscorer at Villa Park, the last minute goal against Stoke, scoring the winner in the 2009 FA Cup Final, being key in our first ever double. I could go on and on and on.

But it's not about his past achievements. He is a Chelsea legend, one of our best players in history and our top scorer, nothing can take that away. But similarly, his achievements can't take away the fact that he chose to play for a rival of ours after explicitly saying that he wouldn't ever play in England.

Those great goals and all the things he helped us win are etched in history; nothing can change them. But those goals are proof of what a great and amazing player he was. But this isn't about Frank the player, this is about Frank the Chelsea fan. This is about what his decision to move to City says about him. This is about how much he loves the club and how much he respects the fans.

And the question in your post might as well be directed at Frank himself. Is he willing to let 13 glorious years be tarnished for a few extra months in the EPL? Because you can't blame the fans for that. Some of the reactions have been completely over the top, and the insults towards him are embarrassing. But at the end of the day, those are emotional reactions. It is his conscious decision that put him in this position. You have to blame his conscious decision and not the fans' emotional reactions.

And one last point: For me at least, it's not about the goal. Like I said before, I expect nothing less than him giving 100%. It is about his decision to sign for City and put him self in a position where he has to play and try to score against us. The goal was just a reminder of what that decision could mean. It was also proof that some of the reasoning behind defending him when he moved to City ("It's just for fitness.", "He won't even make their bench.", "He has a clause where he can't play against Chelsea."....etc.) were all just excuses for us to try our best and not see the truth.

I understand he's a professional and everything but I wouldn't have minded if he missed the goal on purpose. I know if I was in his position I would have hit it to go slightly away from the goal, and I would have firmly stated beforehand that I wouldn't want to play against Chelsea, so if the manager played me anyways his loss. I'm not mad with Frank or anything but I must admit I'm a bit disappointed that he seems to be going back on his words again and again. First he said he wouldn't play for a rival and then that he wouldn't play against us but not only he plays for a rival and against us but he also scores, you can't help but feel a bit cheated on.

Manchester City have extended Frank Lampard's loan deal from New York City FC.

The former Chelsea superstar - who scored against his old club in a 1-1 draw at the weekend - will now remain at the Etihad until February before beginning his MLS career.

By extending his loan stay with the Premier League champions beyond the original date of the end of 2014, Lampard will now potentially be able to face his old club once again: the two sides meet again in the league on January 31st.
