So Sir Alex has been quoted this morning as saying that there could be another signing this window if a particular player is available. Bet you it's Moutino.

If so, when a United fan says Chelsea or City "buy the league," they get a nice backhand slap. If what they're doing isn't trying to buy the title back from City, I wonder what they call it.

BREAKING NEWS: Liverpool and Dortmund have reached an agreement over the transfer of Reus. They've agreed it's never going to happen. [emoji23]

It reminds me the day when we signed Hector and Djilobodji on the same day.

David Moyes is that ugly bloke at the nightclub who gets to 2am and just tries chatting up every girl. Take a hint dude - no-one likes you.

Did you not know it's okay when United do it? They are the "biggest club in the world" after all. They're Manchester United and apparently they do what they want. Rebels!

I have feeling Rvp to ManU wasnt best deal. Robin is 29, has lot to prove now and had terrible run on WC.

Baines or CM is what they are looking and Im pretty sure its the second.

While I hope we make deals for Azpi (8mio) Moses (10mio) or Ayew/then Hazard moves to right (10mio), Witsel (22mio). Makes around 40mio. Sure striker would be great, but I dont think there will be money. But that striker should be very good. Then sell Meireles, Benayoun and Malouda.

Plus it causes serious selection problems.

Kagawa, Powell, and RvP went to United strictly for trophies and history and earn their salaries in cheeseburgers rather than £.

You aren't a merc if you go to Manchester United, only Chelsea and City. It's like they think the players they bring in are free. They may spend in excess of £50m this window, but if City go and spend £52m, Sir Alex will say "that's stupid money."

£32m for Hazard, a 21 year old future superstar is "ridiculous," but spending £25m on a 30 year old glass striker is "brilliant" business. So brilliant that Wenger said that United were the only club close to that price. In his own little world old red face is.

Just goes on to show you the power of media nowadays.

Tell me one positive thing we would have by buying Schurle for 20mio?

depth in wing with about 60 games this season. powerful striker if torres flops. better suited to the team we are building. and last but not the least, more germans

I agree with all you said, but the player you are talking about cant be Schurle, he isnt that good. And not for the price. Reus would be such player, or in our case Jovetic.

Reus wouldn't give depth up front. we were priced out of jovetic.

another player mentioned is Hulk. he provides directness and power to our attack but i would no way in hell pay anywhere remotely close to 40 million for him.

we are short of options and schurrle at 20 is a good deal imo. but knowing chelsea we will probably sign moses and be done with it

I actualy like Moses as he would come 'cheap' and he is not star YET. Im sure he will try hard to get in first eleven, specialy because we lack of good winger on right and will be good chance for him. He has lot of energy, but do people who know him better, see him as hard worker? Like Valencia? Someone who is not overrated and always does his best, when all the flair and fancy passing isnt enough. Someone who can push the team forward in hard conditions. If Moses is that, then Im all for to buy him.

Yes, Reus isnt classic striker, therefore he does best as supporting striker, scored lot of goals last season, but not suitable for us, unless we would play him on the wing. IF we would get him few months ago...What about Ayew, Damiao or Loic Remy as third striker?

Sure we need Azpi, explosive winger and powerfull CM to compete with Mc and Mu. And stop hoping for Modric, he wont come mostly because he is owned by spurs at the moment, our big rival.

Wigan fans say Moses has very little intelligence on the pitch. even the guy who did the opposition views mentioned that. otherwise he seems a good pacy winger

Ayew, Damiao and Remy are good options given how pricy Lewnadowski, Cavani and Hulk seem to be

Azpi is done i guess and i agree we need a CM but that wont happen without selling few. would like to see us sign Moutinho or someone but it probably wont happen

Well we have plenty inteligent players and now some hard worker would suit us. Such players dont give shit what kind of game they play, the critics and they handle pressure much easier. Toure, Ibra,...all play every game at top level because they handle pressure well. They might not be some fancy boys like Hazard or Mata but their consistency is 99% every game. If Moses can do that he would be best buy for me this summer. The next thing is buying experienced player in range of 24/27 yrs to comand and power the midfield. No striker is realy necessary unless Roman finds some extra money under pilow after Rb, Rw and Cm. And sure Benayoun, Malouda and Meireles should leave.

Arsenal literally are the ultimate selling club. Sell 2 of their best players every year.

How can their fans put up with paying the highest ticket prices when the club constantly do business like that? Genuinely hilarious as a Chelsea supporter. :)
