Not sure where all this, "Vidal to Utd for £47m" is coming from, but the rumour is spreading!

From a Chilean newspaper. Due to my lack of familiarity with South American periodicals, I am unable to give you an idea of the reliability of this rumor.

Good deal for Arsenal. I've seen Quintero at the U20 World Cup last year - he is technically sound, such a joy to watch. He is on the same page with James, bar the work-rate. Quintero is lazy as fuck, never helps his defence. The work rate and stamina are some aspects Wenger needs to work on if they manage to sign him.

Jay Rodriguez?

He is not that good, doesn't he? Assuming we sold Torres, for a big game, if Costa injured, would you rather put Drogba or Jay Rodriguez? If the answer is Drogba, he is not a good option then. S*** if he is the only option out there.

But he is our first striker. So of course we prefer Costa. Jay is a strong striker who can be a soild #2 and would be affordable. Besides that there is no one.

I don't understand people who say "if Costa gets injured" who do Bayern have if Lewandowski gets injured? Real Madrid? Very few teams have multiple world class strikers. It's hard to keep them both happy.

Well, we're talking for the worst case scenario here. Of course we hope that Costa would be fit a whole season. If we're not preparing for that, and only hope for the best scenario, then we're not learning anything from the past.

If lewa gets injured, muller fills in as the false 9. Someone who has scored 10 WC goals.

If benzema got injured before the last season, they had higuain. Right now they play either of bale/CR as the false 9. All WC options.
